Seems like the 8600M GS is not having major improvements in performance compared to X1600 Mobility which is good for current S73G users.
8600M GS scored about 2.5k on 3DMark 06 and 16k on 3DMark01 while X1600 Mobility would score about 2k in 3DMark06 and 14k in 3DMark01 I guess? Any S73G user mind to share? The score might be different on various setup with different processors and RAM capacity though, just a rough reference.
The only thing is newer graphic card, DirectX10 support, HD capability with HDMI port available on the S41. Not forgetting the 1.8GHz C2D and the draft-n
Btw, the BenQ Europe site said that there will be Vista with S41 ?

For this laptop dun use cooler also can as notepal doesnt help dat much due to its slow fan speed. No airflow=no heat taken away by convection but only by conduction. 60 degrees is normal. When I play games in a non-air con room d temperature can reach till 80+ also. But dun worry, this lappy got no overheating probs wan. Playin game for a few hours while temperature remains at 80+ also no prob lol. Oh and dun put in on ure lap if ure gaming. It'll really burn ure thigh if not ure balls This post has been edited by Insydious: May 16 2007, 11:00 AM

You can try to take a look either zalman or hiyatek (HY-CF-6157-01). Zalman can find it in lowyat plaza or this forum but Hiyatek hard to find it. I even try to contact Hiyatek Taiwan and they didn't even reply me. Added on May 16, 2007, 2:07 pmQUOTE(xin @ May 16 2007, 09:15 AM) i gonna wait till ATi gpu to determine lol ..
