I'm a recent CompSci graduate with First Class. I have done my internship with Ac******e in IT consulting, I have applied for a few jobs recently.

1st with a Yellow telco,  as an IT innovation engineer and got the offer with salary of 3.5k.

I have also secured interview with 2 of the Big4 in IT Consulting. As well as with Sc**e International. All of these companies are having interview in mid-August.

I am now in a dillema on accepting the job at the Yellow Telco or wait for the Big4 interview/bootcamp due to reputation and salary package.

BTW should I ask for more from the Yellow Telco in terms of salary and what is the salary range in Big4 as an Analyst/Associate in IT consulting.

UPDATE: Now  Ac******e called and offered me a position as an Analyst in Business & Tech Delivery

UPDATE 2: Got clarification regarding the job offer from acc*****re, apparently it is subject to passing a closing interview.
So now it means, I have a concrete offer from Yellow Telco and an almost offer from Acc*****e, and interviews with De*****te and E*** & Y****. Back to headache again.

Kindly advise.

The risky part is that you are giving up a confirmed offer for a prospective offer, what is the chance of getting back into acc?

Just take whichever ticks the most on your list. Good luck!

Chances are high as I did internship there, even the interview is justa closing interview with MD

I been to the i'view for BA role. My friend got selected as a BA, but I didn't. The life in there is work like a dog. Bcoz they are selling the work force to Axiata, if their workforce cant deliver, that means they cant get the business

Basically Accenture has two majors arms: Accenture Solutions and Accenture Consulting, so what I meant was that you went for the interview by Accenture Consulting?
Your friend was a fresh graduate during the time of joining? 4.5k for a Fresh Graduate is excellent pay package.

There's a max cap of 20% increment for non-promotees. (Sounds like a lot, but if a fresh grad starts off at 2.5k, even at max increment, that's barely market rate. Those who earn at the top bracket of their pay grade would be lucky to even see a 2 digit percentage increment.)

Promotees won't have a bump in percentage, but rather a bump into the next pay grade. Which can be quite insane.

Disclaimer: I speak from the solutions side, consulting may be different.

20% Increment for GM with 5-figure salary is significant.
