Actually it's correct they wanna charge a fee as a dead ant inside is not consider a warranty related issue and Highpoint is just responsible for fault on the product not anymore than that.Heck I'm using this monitor as well and I'm really worry now whenever I see the small ants on my workstation desk....hope such thing won't happen!!

Design flaw or what this is viewsonic side of things not Highpoint at this stage.
Lets wait and see what viewsonic gonna do about this.
