But just need TNG RM180 -> HLB Wise RM181.80 to get Online CB RM15, (capped) subject to total monthly spendings >RM500.

How come HLB Wise Visa charges 1% DC fees for transactions such as Netflix and Booking.com?

I don't recall ever getting this charges on other banks credit card. I just double checked, till last month my Netflix was paid through my RHB CC, memang no 1% DC fees.

P/S: if you want to stop 1% charge, use Maybank CC, RHB CC, PB VS for the time being (till they join to charge 1%).

Can see in the app but clicked and said Not Eligible. Is it because I already have 6mths 0% QuickCash from 5mth ago ?

I also kena DCC 1% for Godaddy payment. Pretty sure last year dun have.

I called HLB. CS agent confirmed transaction MCC captured as 5541.

I countered by saying I did it at the pump and there was a rm200 hold. She checked the system and verified the same.

She raised a dispute and I will know the outcome within 3 working days.

According to her, MCC is set by merchant.

I'm not sure if the fact I tapped my card vs insert card in terminal made a difference, but logically, I think it shouldn't matter.

How about paying via Setel cardterus to pump petrol?  Is it eligible for 8%  cashback for Hlb wise card?
