Got it..

But seems like a bit 'over' for the revision isn't it. From 10 transaction of RM50 (RM500) to RM2k per month.

Light to heavy usage. For sure they would lost a lot of users.
*
Maybe that is what they want? To revise and most of us would cut the card so they would reduce their loss?

*

thanks for the confirmation biggrin.gif you pay through maxis website ? or you pay at maxis kiosk ?
*
As per cybpsych suggestion, you can pay through Maxis Pay, I usually pay on https://myaccount.maxis.net.my/wbb/Default.aspx. It's the same thing as well.

slight OT.

how do you check maxis fiber bill online/mobile app?

the myaccount.maxis.net.my/wb is the official portal for fiber/wbb?
*
I'm not sure whether it is official or not. But you can view previous bills and payment history on that website.

QUOTE(sendohz @ Aug 18 2016, 09:22 AM)
Normally i use mylaunchpad website.
*
Mylaunchpad is converted to myaccount.maxis.net.my/wb back in late last year IINM, you still can open Mylaunchpad website, but when you click log in, it will open up myaccount.maxis.net.my/wb webpage.

Kena once. Is there any way to tell from the terminal before swiping the card?

don't think can  sad.gif

Nope, you can only call CS to check for you. Alternatively, you can swipe a small amount for testing first.

Yeah, I'd say 99.9% won't get  sad.gif

Good to know that as I just started using 12-digit on my UOBPayOnline and UOBPayOnline email is so fast, within few minutes I got everything in. biggrin.gif
*
Yeah all these while I am quite satisfied with UOBPayonline. The add more bills function is different with PosOnline as it will give multiple OTPs instead of 1. Fits HLB Wise perfectly.

Thanks for the tip about paying for utilities via UOBPayonline.

But how about other means of paying for TNB? E.g. if I use auto-debit with the WISE card? Does it count and do I get cashback?
*
If your bill can be separated to multiple payments of RM50, why not take the advantage by paying via UOBPayonline instead of paying 1 shot via auto debit?

I don't think I'll have problems with the # of transactions. Prefer the convenience of auto-debit.

UOBPayonline is free to register/join?
*
If there is any amendment to the card's T&C, then you will need to cancel the auto debit and need to find another card to register with, which is more troublesome, to me at least.

I have made up my mind to keep HLB Wise and move all the spending from SCB Cashback Gold to Wise and cancel SCB Gold. I will gain 2 advantages from this:
1. Reduce spending from RM1500 (SCB Gold) to RM1000 (remaining of Wise)
2. Effective cashback from 3.33% to 4.29% (inclusive AF).

What do you guys think?

if you can consistently meet Wise's new requirements each month, then still good nonetheless.

As far as I know previously any transaction made at counters are not eligible for any cash rebate at all. Only at the machine outside sweat.gif

You are right, previously and now also not eligible for rebate. But now it doesn't matter anymore as it will be under retail tranx.

Eh but if I choose as petrol category and I swap at counter...it doesn't count for rebate right? It only counts for the 1k non-rebate transaction.
*
No not counted as petrol category. Only can be counted for remaining 1k.

Hi guys and girls,

I am wondering

- if I use my HSBC credit card to swipe a transaction worth of RM 15,000.00 and I apply for BT using my MBB CC, is there any management fees charged upon the applicatoon?

- what if my MBB CC has limit of RM 15,000.00 only, do you think the BT will be allowed?

- Also, can BT take half of the outstanding amount (RM 7500.00) from my HSBC CC?

Thank you.

For those who wanted to cancel Wise due to other cards have 5% rebate or more and without annual fee, not because of the high minimum spending requirement, good news for you.

Just call CS and tell them this card is still worth it for its 5% for any transaction and CS might offer you to "extend" your annual fee to 1 more year, yes that was the term used by CS.

My AF was charged back on the 1st March 2016. CS said my next AF will be charged on 1st March 2018. Happily accepted, I asked is it subjected to approval? CS said no, if you are willing to use the card then we will extend the AF for you.

After the conversation, I sent a message to HLB via HLConnect. Today they replied and confirmed that my next AF will be charged on 1st March 2018.

So if you plan to cancel or even want to use it, do call them first. Maybe you can enjoy pure 5% for any transaction (at least 1k only) till your next AF charge. thumbup.gif

Hi, could you clarify on the bold part? Meaning now you could get 5% cashback with 1k spending regardless of any categories?  blink.gif  hmm.gif

1k on your selected categories, 1k on others. Total 2k. The other 1k can be any retail transaction.
