But I dare not take the risk as probably they only waive 1 out of 100 customers. Credit Cards Hong Leong Bank Wise Credit Card V8, 10% Cashback , Up to RM100 per month

QUOTE(Duckies @ Aug 19 2016, 01:25 PM) Eh I thought you earning max 100 bucks rebate every month? I also earn less than 50 buck cash rebate every month so I cancelled it...but now when I think back...using Wise will save a lot of hassle and time cause need few more cards to replace Wise Yes, I earn RM 100 every month but after Sam's removal of CC facility for ePay and TnG, I will have difficulty of hitting even RM 50 cash back next month onward.EDIT: If only there's away to pay for Unifi and Telekom bills online and get rebate from Wise...then worth to re-apply back |

QUOTE(Tigerr @ Aug 19 2016, 01:48 PM) TNG can go Jaya groceror. other bills like mobile can use auto deduct, tnb bills can go kiosk. petrol can use pump dispenser, groceries can buy vouchers. departmental also can buy vouchers....so many options to achieve the full rebates.... Nah, my main groceries is for UniFi bills and TnG. Not a big fan of buying vouchers just to achieve full cash back. Petrol, I don't need to pump petrol as I don't drive in KL. Not near to any JG for TnG. Mobile yes but amount not big as I'm a Digi Ambassador user. TNB all this while I'm using UOBPayOnline. |

QUOTE(Duckies @ Aug 19 2016, 02:07 PM) Just now CS from HL called me and asked what's the main reason for cancelling Wise. Then I said annual fee from primary and supplementary combined is a lot plus I don't utilize much rebate every month...so I ask if it's possible to waive annual fee for 1 more year. Banks have the right to reject your application after the cooling period. She said "It's impossible. Annual fee for Wise is a must for second year onwards." Lol. So I tell her to proceed to cancel all. Oh the cool down period is 6 months. So I guess I will go and re-apply 6 months later. |

QUOTE(kawteem @ Aug 23 2016, 12:23 AM) Cool. Hope it's gonna work out well for you. Remember to request for waiver prior cancellation, who knows you're one of the lucky ones. Yes, prays hard that it works as planned. BTW when exactly is your wise anniversary date? I think it was 14th September 2015 that my card got approved... QUOTE(kawteem @ Aug 23 2016, 12:33 AM) Most importantly is to see the af transacted in your unbilled transactions no earlier than the date of your planned swipes. Good luck! I actually intended to cancel on 29th August after I receive my July cash back but my evil mind is telling me just wait for 3 days and you will get additional RM 100. |

QUOTE(pvateme @ Aug 23 2016, 10:27 AM) Do you mean that, if I cancel my card on 1st September, I will get rebate for month of August on 28 September too ? According to the seasoned guys here we can get CS to transfer the cash back to our CASA or other existing HLB cards.Either option is fine with me but I will probably get them to transfer to my MACH card. I will call them soon to enquire regarding this. |

QUOTE(hebe87 @ Aug 23 2016, 08:18 PM) Better call to enquire Few already confirmed that they still got their cash back even after card is cancelled. If i not mistaken, according to TnC At the time of crediting cashback, the credit card has to be in good standing If the card is cancelled already, not sure whether the cashback can comes in or not |

QUOTE(DRBS @ Aug 23 2016, 10:53 PM) Am new to this card. Apologize for asking questions that likely has been covered before. 1. Any reduction in your credit limit?1. I used the card 4 nights ago (Saturday night) but the transaction still has not been registered. Is that normal to take so long? 2. If I break up my TNB payments into multiple payments and pay them on the same day via UOB online, is that counted as multiple transaction? 3. I presume using the Maxis pay portal is counted for telco transactions discounts, ya? 2. Yes. 3. Yes. |

QUOTE(sewell @ Aug 24 2016, 09:58 AM) HLB is so lousy, i went to petrol station trying to swipe over the pump dispenser but cannot go thru, went into the office also no luck. In order to entitle for petrol cash back under HLB Wise, you must swipe at the fuel dispenser...after that receive a sms saying my card is block. call to ask for unblock, say 1 hour time can use back, but 2 hour later also no luck. so lousy! |
