Hi guys,

I have Dell UltraSharp Model U2312HM Monitor LCD. I want to connect HappyTV to my monitor. But this model have no HDMI port. The only port for this model is DVI-D and VGA port.

Can anyone here suggest to me what type of cable to connect between DVI-D to HDMI happyTV? And how much the cost?

HappyTV or HyppTV? Try using HDMI to DVI cable. But you need to figure out something else for the audio.

Sorry..its TM HyppTV so just google HDMI to DVI-D cable right? Will do. i have USB port speaker can I connect to monitor?

If you use the HDMI to DVI cable, the sound will not go through. If you want sound as well, use something like the HDMI to VGA adaptor with sound output.

Tq buddy. I have check the link but still have no idea how many cable should I prepare for installation.

1. HDMI to DVI-D cable for video output?
2. HDMI to VGA adapter for audio output?

Am I right? So do I need speaker or my monitor has already built-in with audio?

If you use the HDMI to VGA with sound converter, the connection will be HyppTV > HDMI to VGA Converter > VGA cable > Monitor. You might need to add VGA to DVI adaptor if your monitor doesn't have VGA input.
