why u compare old myvi with new persona 

Sorry not intend to condemn the Perodua car as im a ex perodua car owner and had good experiences with my first car, but it's because the pricing are similar :
Myvi 1.5 SE : RM 53,368.50 Persona Exec : RM 55,800.00
Myvi 1.5 advanced : 58,368.50 Persona Premium : RM 59,800.00

Is not a versus but a choice. The package offers vs the pricing made the myvi looks 'quite expensive'.

regarding the speedo issu the 15 inch tire did make the speedo faster... im currently using 17 n when put the meter against the gps the reading is accurate...

current setup is 205/45/R17

so far tis is my FC for 1.6 MT persona , calculated by the car itself

full city driving, 70% travel daily from setapak to pj ara damansara (go and back) 30% in cheras lensen

Do you have rattle issue?
I complain to their manager inside the office with a serious face although my face isn't haha. He said he will check for me. After an hour, he said the sound is from the loose crew at beneath the dashboard. Tighten the screw and add padding. No more sound. Thanks god. There is a free car wash after the service, and I was shocked that they said they wash my car d yet my car still dirty lol. Btw I top up another rm120 for fully synthetic engine oil as the package engine oil is meant for 5k km only

went for 1 k service last day, whn way back to home, i notice some sounds coming out from the car, i guess it is from the aircond, but whn i reach my home, i go down from the car(car engine still running) there's abnormal sounds comes out from the engine , so i recorded down and send to the Service manager tat i met in the SC, few hours passed, he call me to check iziit any fluid under my car, and yes, thrs fluid under my car, thn he suggested me nt to drive the car anymore and ask for towing the car to SC again,engine leak (mayb)

missed the free 3 years service promotion, now waiting for their next promotion, hopefully it wont b long :'(

Yea. year discount are to clear warehouse of leftover stocks.. and since new Persona's demand caused bottleneck in production line... , there is no need to offer any good discount in near future. Still depends on variant too I guess . Non Premium might have better chances .

Discounts or price cut should be give to the Exec variant. I would choose the exec variant if the price are around 52k. But its 6k more than my standard, the missing parts that i want are the front fog lamp only which i can install aftermarket for not more than 300 bucks. But then the aftermarket installations wiring may not as tidy as the factory install.

As some rumor saying that 2017 budget gov will give some special for first time local brand (proton & perodua )car buyer that they will able to enjoy a excise duty free car .  some of my customer also keep asking me either to wait or not . i just get information from my boss regarding the excise duty amount ,

When i changed my hu time, the acc shop offer me rm 280 for the oem fog lamp plus installations. Its the whole set including the wiring and button, i didn't take becoz there are not place for the button as the slot beside the start button already taken by the headlamp high low adjusting switch. Unless u want to saw a hole at the circle start button slot which is not nice. I suggest how about install the switch at the last center switch which is not used but the guy said is difficult to mod as the center switch come in set and already with fix harness connector.

The auto folding side mirror..yes that's why peoples are either choosing the standard for cheap price or the premium for complete specs. I dun choose the premium becoz it's 10k gap and i dun need 6 airbags.

What i want to add at my standard cvt:

- Front fog lamp - Seldom turn on when i drove my old persona se, but sometimes useful when very dark and rainning condition..and when your headlamp not enought bright after 5 years. If not add feel like missing something..

- The audio system - Standard only comes with 2 small magnet mid speakers at the front door. When u drive 80km/hr above at the highway, hardly to hear what the radio dj saying even u turn the volume 25++.

- Leather seat - I budget around 1.5k for half leather, easier to clean and keep your interior tidy. But the black fabric are not bad at all, the old persona fabric with bunga bunga corak cannot except.

what is the promo this month?

Sony xav650, good sound but no gps, I changed whole set sony component speakers in front and 3 way speakers back. There are connector selling that u can plug and play and no need cut the wiring. Mine install that time dun know and never buy. The proton sc wont that strict to void your warranty. But if like my case got rattles sound around the dashboard they will not help u to solve anymore as if the wiring come from my changed hu .

Collected my 1.6MT  yesterday. So far feel gear 1 to gear 2,  gear 2 to gear 3  there is power drop, the rest is fine.

Rattle start from day 2 at passenger side dash board. Seems to be coming from around the airbag area.
Anyone met with similar issue?

So far still satisfied with it, except for tyre too noisy.
