Bought and took delivery of Persona 2016 about a week ago from Vincent.

Few things to note:
1. The salesperson everyday chase money right until last cent was paid. Pretty much nothing to talk about apart from chasing you to pay up the sum.
2. Sum to be paid is a complete mess. Need to go through one by one to verify the sum to pay is the correct figure.
3. When taking delivery of the car, the car is not properly washed. There are stains and bird poop on the car itself.
4. Front windscreen (7 inch) is not tinted and the salesperson not even realising it's not done, suggesting to me he didn't follow up the case.
5. The rep the salesperson appointed to serve us to took delivery of the car didn't fully go through in explaining the car. For eg; the rep didn't inform us that when starting the car you need to wait the ABS light to switch off before proceeding to start the engine.
6. Fuel tank is not fueled up and we have to fill it up ourselves, although we are reimbursed later.

I might be a tad critical or even picky in some of the points I mention but it is part of the ownership experience given to the customer. The items above mentioned are some of the most basic things to have when one is getting a car. Since the car prices in Msia is high, customer expectation inadvertently will be slightly higher.

Car itself though is a joy to own. CVT lag is still noticeable. The brake bite per brake pedal travel is commendable which Proton failed to mention in the promotional material.

Im assuming the money is the downpayment right?

Or you can follow their suggestion for the break in period. Its in the manual. Dont just think by yourself la. Their engineer knows alot more regarding the engine.

Mega confusion between the SA & the mechanic who serviced the car yesterday.

Car was serviced at 1,004 km. Official receipt states that the next service is due at 11,004 km. I asked the SA if this was a misprint as going by the other vehicles I've maintained it has always been at 10K, 20K etc. The SA insisted it was cumulative i.e, 10K increments + current mileage.

As I was checking the car before leaving the SC, the mechanic who serviced the car came up to see if I was satisfied with everything. Asked him about the display indicating next service message at about 9K remaining. He said that was correct. Showed him the printed receipt & he was confused too.

I was running late by then, told the mechanic I'll follow up with the SA later.  rclxub.gif

Should be 10k, 20k etc like you mention. For example, you went to service with milage at 2041km, next service should be at 10k@6 months as well.
