Hi All Daikor,

So noob question here, is the driver side power window automatically "up" and "down"? I read the manual, it seem can be "up" & "down" automatically, but for my case which is not. "Down" when press down to max "tuck" sound, it will go down automatically. But "up" is not. something wrong?

Another question is how we know we entitled for the free 3 years service? Mine is premium specs book end of September 2016 but from dealer.

The Syntium SE Series is said to be "Tuned for Proton" and it is good for 10k km for all range
SOS

Meanwhile I'm still wasn't sure if free service will get the SE series or the older one at 10w 40 which is thicker... my last service they gave me the old one because the SE version wasn't launched yet  hmm.gif

After u stop the engine, within 10 minutes, turn ur light switch from "off" to "position" and then to "off" again. The trick is from "position" to "off" or "auto" to "off" for premium variant

What I dont like is the headlight turns on immediately, it should be illuminated after u lock the car though..

Feel this feature like dumb. Need to did it each time after you stop your car. I thought it suppose to trigger once and auto in the future? 😅😅

Same here....when I turn down window it sound like "tat" and then smooth back  vmad.gif  ranting.gif
What happen here?

Same here. When turn down got "Tat" since day 1. Maybe will try the lube solution.

Did you guys encounter the engine temp gauge decrease to 2 bars when speeding on highway? Normal temp gauge should be 3 bars. Or I'm the only one kena? Not sure this will hurt the engine. But I guess it will make FC bad where it need more fuel to generate energy to heat up the engine. It will back to 3 bars when I lower to 80-90km/h or city drive.

Regarding the rattling sound in dashboard, I did ask SC and they said proton going to be a recall during Feb or mar for all the persona and Iriz. Not sure he got con me or not.

For the auto headlight function, is the sensor really not that sensitive? I around 8am in the morning, but my headlight still been turn on. Need to facing a direct sunlight only it been turn off 🙄🙄

Light sensitivity right now currently even at 8am at outside still dark. I actually don't believe when they said wanna recall something, even the brake switch which i am having problem with in the beginning of ownership they haven't update anything yet. I guess they just change it when the owner came for service, if they issue a recall statement might damage their reputation even badly.

Even Honda or Toyota did recall. How about the temp gauge?

About the temp gauge fluctuate 2/3 bar there is a reason behind this. When i met with the proton's engineer last year, they did mention about this issue. The reason why they fluctuate to 2/3 bar because, i don't know how to explain this clearly as I already forgotten the details, they set the temp gauge to trigger at certain temperature. On 3 bar the temp would be around 75~80c if i remembered correctly but once the temp goes below that level it will fluctuate to previous bar. It's depend on the engine temperature really and no it's not about the temperature sensor, even if you change it, it will still be the same. And you might be thinking other car that use digital meter doesn't have this kind of fluctuating, they made this one for real time which mean when temp goes below 75/80c it will instantly goes back to previous bar, other manufacturer delay the reaction to certain time in order to compensate something already forgot.

Again kindly asked directly to proton, they willing to answer your question. My answer might not be correct as it's rejuked from my weak mind  tongue.gif

Thanks for the explain. 😀
But for my case, it can be static at 2bars for half hour if I speed >120km/h. Like you said, it should reflects the engine temp a.k.a coolant temp and not faulty on sensors. My question is for common engine out there, it should operate at optimum temp right? If engine is cool, more fuel is burn to keep the engine warm right? Or thermostat having problem?
Is other sifu here having similar problems? Just wanna know I'm not alone? 😅😅

I suggest both of you issue this problem to proton SC. They are more willing to help in order to solve this issue.

for premium variant, will the headlamp turn off itself when you lock the car?
*
What you means by headlamp turn off itself? Your lamp switch in auto mode or ON? If auto, it will off itself once you stop your engine. If normal mode than you have to manually turn off yourself.

The follow me home feature have to trigger manually each time once you had stop your engine. Last for 30s and it will off itself.

I just wonder when the persona headlamp will be off when auto mode ON. Not sure is after lock the door or stop the engine. BTW, thanks for the answer.

Welcome. But did you feel the auto mode is too redundant? Need a direct sunlight only the headlamp will be off itself. bangwall.gif

hi, read your comment on this. some say better don't waste the extra 6k just for exec variant since it's just more stylish etc. was thinking of going exec too but was given this opinion earlier

QUOTE(Dyson Jin @ Feb 14 2017, 10:07 AM)
yea same..but push start button is tempting..exec doesnt have it right? sad.gif

Depends on your budget. Me and wife choose premium spec because of the push start. My advise is either standard or premium, dont go for exec. thumbsup.gif
