Engine is much smooth. Since labour and engine oil are free. Upgraded to fully synthetic engine oil for RM85.

Pump RON97 and felt the engine power kick in.
Blast at 183kmj at Bukit Jalil to Putrajaya highway.Before, do survey no police from Bukit Jallil to putrajaya then Uturn and blast the car.

My experience.
1. 0 to 40. Steering feel light
2. 55 to 90. the steering different from light
3. 110kmj to 183kmj bit heavy. Believe the car setting. can anyone comfirm this

If you blast from 110 to 160. Engine felt kick in slow.
But when you stomp aggressive from 50 to 183kmj it does move on. I dont dare to exceed 183kmj but i'm sure Persona can reach more. (not racer or wanabe)

Noise engine
1.  below 90kmj quite.
2. about 110kmj (rpm about 2800rpm at 110kmj) engine can hear roar a bit.
3. about 183kmj about 5K rpm. Unfortunate Leg shaken. but cornering at 160kmj is stable.

I know the car can push more. Migrated from MyVi 1.3 (A) 2014. Cornering are stable at 160kmj. It does not wobbling side to side due to car heavy.
Pick up.. traction control does help. rpm gone up to down but tyre grip to move on.
Engine roar loud when you reach 4.5K rpm. So dont expect much there.

To end this. for driving below 110kmj rpm reach almost 3K rpm. Probably proton should rexduce it to 2.7 or 2.6K rpm. CVT ratio needed to change.
Stability. I have no issue. It beat Myvi clear cut.
Brake. it grip. But when the ABS kick in... you can hear the brake hammering. Not sure other car do the same.
Log record - Proton do download the car performance record. I guess i'm the guinea pig for their next action plan.
Body and engine rattling. I dont hear any. But cant expect much at 1K km car.
I'm not going to blast 180kmj anymore. Leg shaken, eyes open widely. Early 4 series age. youngster will able to beat that records anytime.

Same engine and gearbox on Preve only 170 ,
regarding weight and ECU new setting will be max.arround 190 with 1 person only (and low fuel in tank).

ps : test drove a persona today and the dashboard rattle exactly at the same spot as my Iriz; driver A pillar and radio.

wind noise is common for most car , gotta get some wind noise rubber seal done to help reduce the noise

Update of my car dashboard rattling problem. Found and solved with accessories shop in the sunday afternoon. Its a small gap near passenger A pillar and windscreen, everytime go through bumpy road the dashboard will hit the windscreen and create rattling noise. Solution is sumbat in a sponge to hold the gap, a bit ugly but acceptable better than the annoying 'tuk tuk' sound. Found a good accessories shop with a very nice guy worker. Hard time to find the rattling area, bring the acc guy sit beside me to round and purposely go through bumpy road. What he did was removed the glovebox and use his handphone to take picture inside the dashboard with flash. Slowly minimize the problem area by using fingers to press the possible area, if press hold the right place and the rattling stop then that was the problem cause area. Mr nice chatty guy talking about all sorts of car problem all the way and charged me rm10 only for the sponge tape and the problem solved.  Sigh proton..famous iriz problem still no improvement, there are sponge originally at the gap but not thick enough to insulate.

Before I bought this car, I thought premium comes with Goodyear too. But it's also Silverstone.
Yeah, the stock tyre is very not good, poor gripping and loud road noise. I need tyre with good grip especially on wet roads(as I travel at high speed most of the time). So I went with the RE003 which is well known for the great performance and value. It has an even more affordable price offered by TyreExpert which is a big bonus to me lol. The car looks cool also with the bigger and wider tyre.
Luckily our cars come with ESC, I can't imagine what will happen if w/o ESC. I think if you corner at high speed and always drive at high speed, it's much safer to get a better tyre to prevent this kind of accident again.

Anyone realize this "tang" sound occur after turning off your engine from a drive?

The sound is like a small piece of stone dropped on a metal plate... not sure is it related to some metal expanding of shrinking in the engine bay due to heat... didn't get to record the sound thou, mayb I'll try record next time.

It occur after turn off engine around 1-2 mins.

Can be heard if you're standing in front of the car, not sure of the precise location yet...
