I just got my car yesterday. I felt that the car is underpower mainly due to the eco mode that we can't disable (not eco idle). Is the same to Prius that I have whereby in eco mode, the car will lack of responsive in throttle and transmission, but Prius allow us to select Normal, Eco and Power modes. The Eco Idle quite responsive but not as smooth as Hybrid car. Overall I'm quite happy with Bezza with this price range whereby u got the features mostly only available on car with 85K above.

im quite worry of the eco idle. Just a short journey less than a km, the engine start n stop i think more than 5 times. eg:
1) stop at the guard house to tag the card. engine stop
2) after the guard house stop at the junction. engine stop
3) about 500m stop at traffic light. engine stop
4) about 200m stop another traffic light. engine stop.
5) ...
6) ...
foresee will have a lot of problem in future due to wear n tear...

I feel Perodua shld improve the Eco Idle design whereby currently is not logic to start the engine again when you already intended to stop and park your car. Is awful whereby here is current desgin:
1. Park and stop the car
2. During this time due to Eco Idle is active engine already off when you still step on brake pedal
3. When you shift the gear to "P" the engine will be started by Eco Idle sad.gif

As u can see from above steps is not logic for Perodua to design Eco Idle to start the engine again when you shift the gear to "P". I hope they can tune the Eco Idle algorithm and update accordingly. Cause i have Prius, it won't start the engine when u shft to "P" if the engine is off by Eco Idle.

Thanks for the reply. I have asked the SA who also suggested the configuration as you. But I still felt weird whereby the center seat belt still persist in the central position whereby I can't see the same 60:40 foldable seats issue on other cars sad.gif

I like to contribute on my working trip from Cheras to Cyberjaya (one way is 30KM). During morning time I used more congested road from MRR2 to Seremban Highway thru Serdang Perdana (to skip Besraya Sg Besi Toll) and than all the way to Cyberjaya. I was able to record Fuel Consumption of 16.6KM/L (I'm not the light footer driver, max speed is around 120km/h to 130km/h). When off work I used MEX highway to travel from Cyberjaya to Cheras out from Bukit Jalil. During this time I drove as fast as 140km/h and I still able to get the FC about 16.1KM/L which I can say is very good compare to other cars, even my Prius only can beat this a bit by around 18km/l (same speed 140km/h) but I don't blame Prius since Prius is a lot heavier than Bezza although is Hybrid car tongue.gif

So I dare to say that Bezza should be able to achieve 22KM/L as Perodua claimed if you guys drive consistently 90 - 100km/h.

u drive that fast, the car not feel like want fly meh?

I would said it quite stable if u maintain at 120-130km/h. The floating feel might due to suggested tyre pressure 250kPa is too high. I changed to 230kPa is more stable for high speed. smile.gif

hi all, i have a question here, when i mobile link android phone and running waze, as soon as i enter into D, it mention in drive mode then i cant see waze, how to solve?
*
This Drive app is very buggy. I think is from China software vendor, cause if I search with the Blackmart app, i'm able to update it to latest v3.2.6.2 but it will be in Chinese language sad.gif After I upgraded to this version, I'm able to display Waze or Google map even i shifted to "D" gear (finally it worked as it supposed to, cause this Drive app shld only allow you to display Navigation apps and no others while driving).

After drive for about 600km. My front suspension got kruk kruk sound when going through bump or uneven road. Any recomended sc at pj area to check up this issue?
*
I faced the smilar problem as you when i hit around 500KM, took back to service center and found out is because the arm screw was not tight, after the mechanic tighter the screws, solved the issue. But this really give me bad impression on the QC cry.gif

sad, my average fuel consumption is very low : 11KM/L

do we need to reset to get a more accurate FC?
*
Yes, you need to reset the trip and KM/L readings every time you pump fuel, if not it will keep accumulate since the last reset value.
