yes, i think i press the brake few seconds later, engine is idle. urm, i didnt place my booking, because i'm still considering, but if you get via perodua sales, it should be in a month time. this worries the most, as i'm currently travelling 100km a day for work, can't imagine the journey at federal highway where i stepped my brake to drive instead. i might forgo this to myvi icon just to be safe, might be outdated in terms of push start button, but i think much more safer, as we're going to be pioneer for this, and no one know the real outcome of this, will EEV + Idle Stop engine will make the maintainance cost higher? (referring back to RodaPusing's YouTube discussion)
I had the same questions... and Perodua Executive Chief Engineer' answer is in the video
Published on Jul 21, 2016 Will Eco Idle affect the battery/starter motor? Will the air-con compressor turn off? Benefits of VVT-i? Albert Ngu, ECE, answers all, and more.
But how much will you be actually saving over the long run?
Whilst we applaud Perodua for making this highly advanced feature available for the masses, it is important to note that vehicles with auto start/stop typically require more powerful batteries, alternators, and starter motors than vehicles that don’t. This is true for cars of any brand.
Perodua officials speaking at the Bezza launch were unable to provide specific numbers, but have acknowledged that consumers can expect to spend 10 to 15% more in part replacement costs for these two components.
Has anyone tried this before, from the description seems like requires to connect to starter switch socket (voids warranty?) BEZZA 2016 Double Locktact - Brake Pedal Lock

Hey guys, first day driving today. My car start stop more than 30 times due to traffic jam on the eco idle... As short as 5 seconds interval... I am thinking to off that function. Any suggestion?
Switch off for traffic jam situations. Turn it back on when driving with many traffic lights and/or long traffic light changes encountered.

does the door comfort really reduce the outside noise?
I feel it does help a bit, door feels a lot more solid as well which is good. As others have mentioned noise comes in also from the floorpan/floorbed. Unless you're willing to put in (spray?) the insulation at bottom, nothing helps even with thicker coil mats..

Hiya, don't know why now sometimes at my front dash board can hear rattle sound. Anyone having it too???
Yes, it is luckily quite soft and I only hear it at very low speeds. Does not happen at full stop. It will stop if I reach over and press on the glove compartment door. Sadly I think it is some resonance issue I can do nothing about. (emptying the glove compartment is no help)
