Went for test drive the bezza advance this afternoon. The car feels light but the suspension quite good on the bumpy road. The throttle feels so slow compare to my 1.6 persona. Air-conditioning are very good even on level one only in the hot afternoon. There are no minimal sound proof even the advance version that you will hear the plastic sound when u knock at the car doors trims. There are toys like the GPS and link to your Android phone. An idle stop thingy alike the Mazda istop will stop the engine and off the air conditioning when u stop the car at the traffic light to save fuel. The cars are selling like hotcakes and it's a long waiting list for the 1.3 brown color variance.

Perception: a poor man mini version of vios. Safe fuel is the selling point.

Conclusion: I booked brown color advance to replace my 8 years old high fuel consumption and soon have to change timing belt second time persona.

The feeling: like downgrade a medium big bikes to scooter when u lazy/tired to drive the heavy bikes and seldom speed anymore. A nice simple easy to drive city )car preferred.

Indeed the new persona launch will slow down the hot sales of the bezza. Obviously more premium and solid interior class or better exterior designs from the persona. The only advantages of bezza is maybe more fuel saving engine only. Pricewise advance bezza = kosong persona. The highest specs of the persona is 10k more than the bezza advance.

Im a 8 years persona se driver that soon going downgrade to bezza 1.3. To be fair to proton, the persona serve me well for a stable ride in the past 8 years. Why downgrade the persona:

-the car very sluggish in jammie city and only manage to reach around 300km full tank.
-the car turning radius are bad and the pickup are slow. The brakes are spongy.
-irritating rattling sound everywhere after 5 years if u turn off the radio.
-the back lamp bakar every few months, masuk air.
-around 150k milleage now and the timing belt/water pump have to change for second time with fees around 800 outside shop.
-tyre battery change rm250/pcs every 2 years.

I assumes the new persona had improved and its way better looker than the bezza but I am choosing a lighter fuel saving/lower maintainance car for city driving. Just my 2 cents~

Saw 1 premium variant white colour at the highway this morning. Boy the car are fast! My speed already at 110+, i think the bezza easily goes above 140km/h tailing close to the front cars in the 3rd lane.

Ya I was told over filling will damage something in the car. Was told to stop filling once it click to stop happens. But someone here said it is just a myth? lol

Btw have anyone found any nice cheap key pouch yet???

No need worry bro, there should be a small valve hole near the fuel filling entry that will drain back the excess fuel into the tank. Just flush your car body quickly with water if the petrol kena the car paint. Once or twice in a while should be no harm but dont overfill everytime because long term the petrol might 'melt' some plastic parts like the fuel cap that not build to resist the chemical.

Sooner those areas will be covered by black oil sludges so it's no big deal. Perodua is the best car company in Malaysia but some items they should includes in their new car packages.

- basic noise insulations foam in the door panel, bonnet, spare tyre panel.
- maintainance free battery.
- coil mat.

Just like the eliminations of steel rims and manual hand winding windows those items will not cost too much for the manufacturer but will give good improves convenience to buyers if it comes as standard.

Nice looking like the almera nismo design! The best part are the rear skirt completely covered the underneath fuel tank view..and its half price cheaper. But is there an opening cover to access the towing hook behind?
