I havnt received my car yet, any bezza owners here regret buying bezza? Bezza might be a good car but what ticks me is the price.. U get a A segment 1.3l car, if toyota made a baby vios , 50k would be the price, u plus 18 19k can get vios or city or elantra (i read city offer now 63k not sure), for the price (plus minus)u can get a persona or preve which is B segment 1.6l car. I am sorry, i am just having second thought as my gf my sis my dad my workmates all condemn bezza as ugly car and underpowered car.they all asking me is it possible to cancel now.. From the reviews here turns out its not even that fuel effiecent.
*
i no regret

but i agree outlook is really abit too small...and for me it is a little underpower while accelerating...and back seat not really that comfortable

fuel efficiency wise what i get is 400km for 50 bucks of fuel(first tank).....but what the meter show is 12.xkm/liter

i normal drive only...never go for teken eco-ly...

but i believe if you really tekan eco sumore go and back penang...u can clock for 20km/liter

I think it's normal for a new car to calibrate itself first for the fuel consumption thing, just like phone battery when u buy a new phone, it will take like 1 or 2 days of full use until the battery indicator can give you the real estimated standby time.

in my opinion, it is all up to personal preference, those who have driven a much powerful car will definitely say Bezza is underpowered, to me it is adequate.

as for the looks....it is subjective bro sweat.gif

and bro, u need to remember, the 50k (Adv) you are paying is not only for the 1.3l engine, it is all for the other features as well
I'm sure that 63k City wont get u VSC, LCD multimedia, shark fins, etc...and not even a reverse camera (even the full spec Honda city also didn't have reverse camera sweat.gif)

so you have to ask yourself the question, what is your priority? $$? safety? size? its your car at the end of the day and what other think cant be stop you know.

remember for every dollar extra you loan has an interest on it. i'm sure you have done your homework on research all existing car before you decide.

Nope.
It's a Toyota with a different logo
And Toyota are supposed to be ugly whistling.gif
It's score a higher mark than iriz and hilux in the Ncap test.
And it has every toys that the Japanese had that we wish we had and can only see in youtube

Actually it's not a baby vios.
It's a baby Corolla axio (way way more high class than vios laugh.gif)
Quite better looking than the JDM Corolla too

Also you are kinda comparing a top tier A segment to a Base B segment of course you think it's just 20k more. Try comparing base line to base line, high line to high line. Personally, just used it for a while at least until 2018 an sew wherether "someone" promises no more excise duties where the new Honda civic can be had for as little as 62k happen or not.

Or at least, try waiting after the US elections. If they rectify the TPP afterwards you could get a fiesta for 62k. Unless the government wants to get dragged into court lah. They just had go do it.Even then you would still not be disappointed with the bezza because at 50k is pretty much the price of top tier A segment anywhere.

Hi,

I don't think there is any problem in cancelling your order - l mean if tats wat you want.. Besides its a popular model n P2 SA would not have any problems finding someone to take your place in the queue..
After saying that, its quite normal to have cold feet.. n you are not wrong in second guessing about the Bezza.. If its any consolation, Peroduas have always been a little expensive [ as compared to Proton - I guess they know their cars are less problematic.. ]
Just curious, if you dont get the Bezza, what would be your next choice?

My thoughts of getting a Bezza is to replace my ageing 22 years car for temporary like says 3-5 years, I'm actually more interested to Proton Saga or Persona but the one with new engine line-up. But I couldn't wait that long. So after 3-5 years if the new proton did deliver with really promising engine and features, who knows mayb quality got better? Then I'll swap this for those Proton and still have high RV.

Why 3-5 years and not just wait next year? Because its a Proton, I need some time to observe it's problem and not to end up like the Gen 2 having really poor newly developed engine that give high torque and hp value at peak, but soooo poor performance at low-mid rpm range.

And why not the soon to be launched Saga and Persona? Because something better is coming for this car, why bother buy the 2nd best and seeing the RV drop so much when the new engine version launched?

LOL..

You seem to know what you want n have made a list on wat not to do.. hehehe biggrin.gif
If you are thinking like an accountant then keep using your old car.. there is absolutely no benefit in getting the Bezza or even the upcoming Protons.. Either car will lose money once it touches the road under your name [ or the banks - tats wat actually happens when you take a loan .. but tats another story.. ]
If you are human - well .. life is short - live a little.. In the end when we leave, we cant take it with us..

i never owned a car before, i dont know, i only have driven my sisters 2013 vios e, and i remember how i felt, i feel want to get back into the car and keep driving, it felt good, so my choice was vios, plus everyone says toyota cars is good, can last long. but vios is not really a option for me, coz i still need to buy a house, i remember asking my sis to take mc coz she was sick, than she said 'if she take rest who will pay for the car?' so i dont want to take vios or city even if i want to, my budget is 50k maxxx, at first i thought of buying second hand vios under 40k, but everyone said no, my officemate said, buying second hand car is like catching another man's poop. plus i dont have anyone to help incase the car breaks down, so i opted to buy new car, so since proton threads have so much complains on saga and persona, i am left with perodua, perodua is good , my best fren using 2013 myvi, its very reliable and never had any problem, i am thinking of myvi vs bezza or even alza, myvi is a matured car, been 10 years, sure most defects have solved, parts and expertise to repair surely got. Another thingĀ  everyone saying a cars life is only 5 years? nobody planning to keep a car forever, even the SA told me to blast the bezza for 5 years and sell it, so in my mind, isnt a good car worth investing more if it can last you longer?
*
For the bolded part, I think you buy car to please others instead of yourself.

There's nothing wrong owning a used car if you have limited budget.

What with the cars life is only 5 years? U mean after 5 years it will kaaboooom and turn into dust?
Those people pandai tok kok sing song, but did they change their car after 5 years?

5 years need to change car, that's for the rich.

To be honest, the rule of thumb for buying a car is car price = your yearly income
Which means u need to have 4k monthly income to afford this full specs Bezza

and many people also say u can't afford the car if u need to loan for more than 5 years.

But take a look at it, how many people actually following these rule?

Yup,

Tats what l meant, the feeling of driving .. its an expensive vice what with fuel/maintenance/depreciation.. etc.. but sometimes .. well like l mentioned earlier - life is short..
Toyota cars are OK.. its reliable - tats why it scores very highly for these people..
IMO.. l think you will be mildly surprised if you think the new Bezza is gonna drive like the Vios -
1. The Bezza is touting for EEV n probably tuned for FC - so wont be very responsive
2. Vios has regular 4 speed auto [ l assume you drove an auto n not the manual ] n that drives differently than a CVT gearbox..

One more thing is LUCK..

Buying second hand - of course its riskier but buying new besides all our best intentions of reasearch n more research, sometimes you do get a lemon.. n even thou
its warrantied - its still a headache..

i didnt plan to buy.. but once i test drove last time.. it sure surprise me..
- the acceleration comparable with vios with 3 adults n 2 kids,
- rear bonnet is really big even bigger then civic n city..
- FC is the major concern here.. start stop function is good for city driving.. improve FC too, but maybe the battery need to buy a very good one (no other in its class or above offer this features)
