urm interesting question, but it seems like, u need to stop for a quite a while, in order to let it went to eco idle, from my experience, it is almost instantaneous.

Maybe the blower only since the ac compressor driven by an engine.

Looking from proton history,  sedan will price lower than hatchback. New persona will be cheaper than iriz but lack of some gadget like projector headlamp,  etc.  Hopefully it come with 6 airbag as standard for all variant.
*
probably higher because everyone from p2 to Honda charge more for sedan. and it need to be higher because
as iriz has proven demand is inelastic of price. iriz is cheaper and better spec but still outsold 3:1 with myvi. also p1 is almost bankrupt. also need more toys to fight of bezza.

Just done some digging...the compressor is shut off during idle stop, the aircond is just wind from blower only...

Its seem that the car got temperature sensor, if its detect the internal temperature is increase to certain degree will disable the engine cut n restart the engine and the compressor as well...

yes, i think i press the brake few seconds later, engine is idle. urm, i didnt place my booking, because i'm still considering, but if you get via perodua sales, it should be in a month time. this worries the most, as i'm currently travelling 100km a day for work, can't imagine the journey at federal highway where i stepped my brake to drive instead. i might forgo this to myvi icon just to be safe, might be outdated in terms of push start button, but i think much more safer, as we're going to be pioneer for this, and no one know the real outcome of this, will EEV + Idle Stop engine will make the maintainance cost higher? (referring back to RodaPusing's YouTube discussion)

I had the same questions... and Perodua Executive Chief Engineer' answer is in the video

Published on Jul 21, 2016
Will Eco Idle affect the battery/starter motor? Will the air-con compressor turn off? Benefits of VVT-i? Albert Ngu, ECE, answers all, and more.

p2 is not p1. no one is a pioneer of anything.

bezza is a sedan version of axia which is a rebadged Mira e:s. this platform are pretty old as it should be replaced in 1 or 2 more years.the idle stop, push start,TA,VSC are all coming straight from Mira es.

anyway ask to see the salesman book. there's they put the price list for maintaince for the next 5 years.

myvi icon is really outdated, the fc is the same as iriz

Car is pretty decent & silent, I would say. Air-conditioner wise, quite cold but Loud. The ride seems abit ECO-ish, might fool me as CVT, but it's Dual VVTI, seems a little bit under powered, or maybe it's just me.

*
Maybe you're not really used yet to drive by wire system because before this you're using Myvi that using traditional drive by cable system. Obviously it got a little bit delay that makes you feel that the car is underpowered. sweat.gif Same goes to my Axia now. It can only be solved by installing third party devices that can manipulate the throttle responds.
Upon seeing most of the comments from the test drive here, I might change my mind to Myvi, hopefully they will release the new Myvi soon after Bezza. Current Myvi Icon was a way too outdated in terms of engine as well as technology. rclxub.gif Proton? Thanks but no thanks....

thanks for sharing, but as always, no one will admit that there would be flaws especially during the launch. we will get to know when early adopters gets the car, but still, if you re keen to get your first car, and looking at axia, look no other, bezza is the one for you. but for those current myvi owners like me, it would be best to have a 2nd thought. just my 2 cents.

Yes, more expensive as the the 1.3 advance has a different and bigger battery.

But how much will you be actually saving over the long run?

Whilst we applaud Perodua for making this highly advanced feature available for the masses, it is important to note that vehicles with auto start/stop typically require more powerful batteries, alternators, and starter motors than vehicles that don’t. This is true for cars of any brand.

Perodua officials speaking at the Bezza launch were unable to provide specific numbers, but have acknowledged that consumers can expect to spend 10 to 15% more in part replacement costs for these two components.
