Not sure. Sellers in Shopee normally mark their items "clone" or "ori", my 2nd GMv3 was clearly marked a clone by Debubu and priced as such.

Going price? An ori v2 should be around 60-80, considering an ori v3 goes for 90-ish already nowadays.

60-ish lol. But the original is well worth the 30 buck premium. Better fit, better insulators/orings, smoother JFC and tighter AFC. Parts are interchangeable between the two, but the clone has a very rough JFC and loose AFC (and it leaks more lol).

Yeah the v3 does look a tad more gaudy, but:

1) It leaks A LOT less (thanks to the better AFC and JFC)
2) Building and wicking is pretty much foolproof (velodeck) vs the hassle with the v2 (I can never wick it right without it leaking one way or another)
3) Dedicated single/dual-coil decks (haven't used the single one yet though)
4) Taste is about the same, maybe slightly better (with the spitback-nubbin not attached)

So yeah, considerable gap in overall performance.

And why not the GMv3? Just curious.

vario is more towards mtl tank. before using alto i used serpent mini for creamy. flavour is ok.

how about merlin mini?

Gotcha man. Yeah I do think the V2 has much better design. The fat knurling around V3 make it much more practical though -  I always have a good grip on the spinny parts and the glass hasn't shattered even once after like a hundred drops already lol.

my opinion... serpent mini give more flavor than merlin mini...
also serpent mini no leaking when close down the filling cap unlike merlin mini

dont know if got clone or not here.. but buy from vivaport or de bubu at shopee... authentic tank from them... also cheap

i tried last time merlin mini in vape shop. get it if u want dual coil build in future.

if u want something simple. alto or serpent mini is ok. easy coil build. wicking is abit hard at first but u will get used to it.

finally got ss316 build right. taste so clean. thank you guys!

I think its not very likely to get a cloned Serpent Mini when u buy one. Go to a reputable shop to buy it.

I've personally have used Vario, Serpent Mini, currently on Serpent Alto and Merlin Mini. Vario is reminiscent of a Kayfun styled tank, tight draw, good flavor. Merlin Mini does have a tendency to leak, but with dual claptons the flavor n clouds r good. Still, I miss Serpent Mini the most. That is one excellent tank. Stealthy size, spacious build deck that is easy to work on, good flavor and clouds. My only gripe is I kept dry hitting every now n then. Serpent Alto I'm not too hot about - the build deck posts is rather annoying.

TL;DR --- Get Serpent Mini and vape on brooo!

Actually you got it backwards. The V2 and V1 was nasty to assemble and wick (especially to wick without leaking). The V3 is MUCH, MUCH better.

The only issue I have with the V3 is the pressfit construction of the JFC. Being pressfit there's really nothing you can do yourself once that part starts getting loose... and it does get gradually looser and looser especially after a few drops.

Otherwise, it's been my to-go ADV tank for quite a while now, and I actually have 2 lol (Ori AND Clone - parts are surprisingly interchangeable)... both of which are getting loose lol.

may i know why are u into vario?

To be clear, it only really loosens when you drop it or knock it or otherwise be rough to it lol. It stays fine otherwise.

Im just rough with my stuff lol. Can wholeheartedly recommend  the Pico + GMv3 combo now though as it still works all this time after all the crap I give it lol.

It has a side-deck like the Merlin especially for single coils included right in the box. And airflow can be toned down to quite a tight draw too...

Unfortunately,  I lunghit duals nowadays so I can't really attest to it actually working for single coil MTL, as tight draws usually flood the old V1/V2...  But at least the V3 has a JFC as well to adjust how much juice you're getting.

So yeah. YMMV, but theoretically it should work well.

Actually, I'm looking for another GMv3 myself and outside of Shopee, it's actually quite hard to find, at least from the usual shops around Subang/PJ.

double k is legend... but for smooth butterscotch... better get anna&jane
for the 77's juice... love the sweet taste of manggo..

If you like throat hit pick double k, if not Anna & Jane. I prefer double k. So far my fav butterscotch is from MJ vape in Tesco ampang.

i've tried the 77's mango and rootbeer

mango is good, but 3/4 to finish i feel the taste become flat

rootbeer is GUNK KING. eg: 12pm fresh coil & cotton, vape around 2-3 puff every 20mins, 3pm can taste the gunk already
