My mod keeps telling me check atomiser, swapped different tanks/drippers and all same result.
Swapped tanks to other mods OK. Why like this one?
Did some search and they say something about 510 connector but my mod looks fine inside (opened up)

QUOTE(amco @ Sep 20 2016, 11:48 PM) First, double-check to make sure the coil head or the mini-RBA is nice and snug. Try disconnecting the coil head or mini-RBA a few times just to be sure. When tanks like this are new, the threads tend to be a bit tight. Thing is all the tanks and drippers work on another mod. Not mine. If that doesn’t solve the problem, you probably need to adjust the center post in the airflow collar. This is a floating post and if it doesn’t make contact with the bottom of the OCC coils or the mini-RBA, the mod doesn’t think that you have an atomizer connected. Open the tank as if you’re going to change the coils. Remove the coil head or RBA that you have in place. Look down at the airflow base. See that copper pin in the middle? That’s the troublemaker. Flip the airflow base over. Push on the copper pin to seat it more deeply into the base. This takes a good amount of pressure. You may need to cup the base in your hand and push it against a desk or other hard piece of furniture. And my tanks and the drippers work on another mod without adjusting anything. |

QUOTE(nekkidgramma @ Sep 21 2016, 10:10 AM) I still have the OG IPV Mini when it first came out. I've opened the shit up and cable, soldering looks perfectly fine. But yes it's known to have issues with the 510 and springs and shizzles. I've never searched nor focuses on this part yet, but read here and there a little, the 510 can be swapped, is it not? Though some say there is some drilling required.Try cleaning the 510 connection first but then again the Mini 2 is known for having shoddy shouldering. Worse case scenario, it's dead, Jim. Serpent mini, single coil, great flavour but 2mls capacity. Maybe Tobecco Super Tank afterthat but generally, any single coil tank is low maintainence like the Uwell Crown v1 |

QUOTE(andyng38 @ Sep 21 2016, 02:24 PM) Before u consider swapping the 510: Thanks. Will go through this when I'm home tonight. 1) Compare the soldering with the pictures in https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-guide-e...common-problems Cold joints can cause problems similar to yours, and can be remedied by reflowing the solder. 2) Get/borrow a multimeter and do a continuity test. http://en-us.fluke.com/training/training-l...multimeter.html QUOTE(helldagger @ Sep 21 2016, 03:20 PM) Hi guys. I'm flying to Cambodia tomorrow so how should I bring my vape stuffs. No luggage, just hand carry. Should I disassemble everything? Best to remove the batteries. As long as the batts are connected it is a risk. |

QUOTE(amco @ Sep 21 2016, 07:20 PM) Have you tried it? If not no one could help you!! I've got 3 mods here.. all tanks/RDAs work on other two mods, except the IPV Mini 2... Sometimes, your mod is sensitive and some is okay. So, longer positive pin would works. QUOTE(6oLsh0i_6o0z3 @ Sep 21 2016, 09:20 PM) Nah. Pretty old. Bought it last year July. |
