why didnt you buy the rebuildable head for the tron?

it would be a cheaper cost compare to the occ..

He doesn't rebuild and can't be bothered to. Neither is he even fussed enough to go to a bloody shop to recoil.

Plus, I'm not close enough to be of any use if he has issues with rebuildables. I already tried once, it ended badly (e.g. he stopped vaping for a while).

ekudz Yep JoiTek Teran.

Very true. Not all vapers are enthusiasts like us lol. Some "just vape" can can't be bothered with anything... especially the more senior amongst us.

Anyway, on another note, my VeloV2 review is up: http://goo.gl/rKkdfn.

Just received 4 Sony VTC4s purchased from GearBest on 12th Aug. Pretty fast shipping, I'm surprised when I saw the package today.

Here are some pictures, it comes with the case too. Don't know if legit or not, waiting for the Smok H-Priv to arrive now.

How long did it take for your mods to arrive?

Should I do a full charge on the VTC4s first? I'm planning on using 1 pair first, and keep the other pair for a little later.

folks...

RA-D Tank by Portal bole pakai? any feedback?

Tried it as it already in VE for sale at RM120. The notch coil that came with it is goody. Wicking is a breeze, its definitely a flavour tank. Just you need to understand that there is no RBA. So you may need to depend on the notch coils, VE will bring in Portals Notch Coils at RM28/pack. But i am not sure how many coils in there.

However we went crazy and try to make a leadless coil for the tank, we manage to make contact and the coil fire up but not to our expectation because somehow there are lot of gurgles and spitback which is not happening if using the notch coils. We will try again more.

Or we can just buy normal notches and cut the legs off.

How do the coils make contact with the +ve and -ve terminals in the RTA?

Can also. Well thing is, most notch were SS316L in material. We are more to Nichrome/Khantal user here. So that is why we went crazy just to fit a khantal build in there. Lol.

You have to install the coils vertically. And the coils directly contact the bottom pins and theres a pin just right on the chamber. Ao not sure where positive and negative lol. And you wrap a strand of cotton around the vertical coil.

How much for 2 pcs ? there is VTC4 and VTC5 right? I got mine VTC5 from altsmo so far so good. Better than choco no heat issue and can fire higher amp and no battery low issue so I confirmed is legit.

The rating's a tad different for both.

VTC4 is okay for 23A.... it *can* go to 30A but will run hot and die fast. VTC5 is largely a 20A batt with slightly better cap (Sammy 25R5 rival). VTC6 is more the HG2/30Q competitor.

user posted image

That said, Sony batts are known to have more cycles compared to the others, with maybe Sammy a close second.

And the VTC4's slightly higher CDR compared to the rest (while not losing too much cap) makes it good for higher drain applications.

markypcs Man that is CHEAP. I would snag some but I'm more a 25R5/30Q guy. Great find!

Plus GB is still taking their sweet time passing me my Hastur lol.

Yeah I myself am a fan of 20A 3000mAh 18650s, couldn't pass the price tho. And since I was already buying the Smok H-Priv from GB, why not?

I might consider selling the other two VTC4s. We'll see.

Come come sell me a pair chip chip. You never know when the extra powah is gonna be useful, and at least I'll have another married pair lol for the VeeThree and the TwoThirds.

Yay the Hastur has reached Malaysian soil. Hopefully it arrives in my hand sooner rather than later.

The notch coil ohming at 0.3, at least the one that we tested. I checked with VE today, Portal's Notch Coil already reach, RM28/pack contain 5 notches.
Portals claim that the notch is around 0.25 ohm.

So far during testing there is no leaks at all. rclxm9.gif
