Hi. Need some help. Figured out that I probably need to change the boot latch. Making a buzz sound everytime I try and open it. Latch doesn't work at all. I can open most of the boot inside and remove the felt panel. I have removed the entire latch. However I can't figure out how to remove the plastic cover that houses the rear wiper mechanism. This just help with access to everything. Can anyone share how to open it? Also could it NOT be that my latch needs replacing? I have WD40-ed the heck out of it and it's smoother but after connecting back all the bits it's still not working. Same buzz.
Thanks.
do u have a multi meter & spare 12v battery use meter to test on wire connector first. should get 12v constant during unlock moment.
otherwise put a temporary wire from bateri to latch. listen if same trouble buzz u heard
My model is Alza SE My rear coil spring rubber wore out already. May i know originally is how many mm?
If i were to install the 45mm, my rear will become higher right? Then the front also replace to 45mm to balance it. Anybody change like this before? make the car higher... Will it come any effect? If no effect, then i make it higher so that i can avoid flood water.
By the way, later on i want to put the coil spring buffer. Any feedback? [attachmentid=11029658][attachmentid=11029659]
absorber extending out. worry will that rubber came off. i prefer ori parts
How many of you Alza owners changed to a more powerful engine? I am thinking of buying ALZA... but the weak engine making it under powered is not a desirable thing....but I like the car's design and spacious interior.
enjin weak kah. i find acceptable lo. similar as yaris weight. even less than sienta
Hi, anybody experienced this before? Oil Light and Check engine light was on. earlier today only oil light blinking on and off, then in the evening it was always on..

by the way, the foreman gives me 3 options: 1. Overhaul engine 2. change engine (Avanza engine Japan version) 3. change new car (he knew that I plan to change my car next year)
