QUOTE(cleaner @ Oct 1 2016, 01:36 PM) Better still also install reverse camera and roof camera. Ya....planning to install mayb a kenwood brand screen + roof monitor + reverse cam. Also if you want to monitor engine temperature, can install temp meter. Pic from my kancil. Bought the meter from forklift spare part shop. Cost below rm200 with adapter and installation Will add in the underseat sub and a pair of 6" Hertz component carry over from previous car.. Yes...you reminded me about the temp meter... |

QUOTE(singk @ Oct 6 2016, 04:50 PM) it happens when you park at slope and either you switch to P and let go of foot brake before you engage parking brake brake, or.... your parking brake doesn't apply fully, it move a bit and the P claw biting the gears. Is kind normal especially on slope. agree!.....should stop the car, press foot brake, then switch to N, then parking brake, release foot brake to see it hold the car, then foot brake again to switch to P. well this is my habit.on flat road, engage P without setting parking brake also will make you hard to shift from P to R. and is a bad habit. |

Alza SE 2014. bought on Oct 2016 from Bank Auction. At that time mileage 10k but NEVER service before (service booklet is clean as new). Call service center to confirm and Yes...never serviced. I serviced it right after i got the car at SC balakong by that time. Still valid for warranty
Changed engine oil, filter, gear oil, Spark plug. Now upon reaching 20k...car seems like under power....hardly accelerate/slow respond even though i step on it..what possibly the problem? Booked a service this Sat at SC balakong..any possible problem so that i can inform SC to check for me? |

hi guys, my 2014 SE meter for fuel gauge and milleage counter was resetted everytime i start the car in the morning. never happened before. is it possible for me to unplug the battery terminal and plug back after maybe 30 minutes? the condition is i have pump full tank last night and drove back home ans parked. this morning when start the car it shows onky half tank and the reading for the milleage was turned to the ODO which is the total reading. (not A or B) reading. what happened actually.

Hi guys,
thanks for replying. My alza is 2014 new facelift and i bought it as used car from 2016. at 2017 changed 1 bulb "bosch" which is normal i think coz this last me till Nov 2019. At Nov 2019 changed another 'bosch" but only 2 months. both also i plug in myself as i knew cannot touch the bulb. Sometimes on road saw other alza also got this issue which is same side. |

QUOTE(Kiefer @ Jan 13 2020, 09:15 PM) ok. jsut keep in mind that we try not touch the bulb's glass as you did not.. one more is the 'kaki' to connect the socket. sometimes, i will wash my hands before installing as well if can wear rubber glove. thank you for the info.possible the latest bosch bulb has defects that it can last only 2 months. we never know. on the alignment, sometimes, we thought we got it right, but sometime i myself wrong too. it could be just wrong placement of the bulb slightly can caused light source misaligned as your previous bulb okay right? so i went to my friend acc shop. He gave me "Osram" bulb for me to try. will change today and see hows the outcome. Coz the alignment adjustment already maximum and cant be adjust anymore but the light beam still pointing to the left up. |
