Thank you Kiefer, as after the major service i longer send my car to service center anymore. So have to monitor by myself closely now.
*
No prob... what i can share these normal items to 'monitor'

1. EO & OF - Fully syn about 8k to 9k interval
2. ATF & ATF filter - every 20k
3. Radiator coolant - about 20-25k or 1 year (using distilled water & toyota coolant)
4. brake pads & disc. - checking fluid level too periodically
5. absorbers (check when doing alignment every 8-10k)
6. air filter (change if needed when checking)
7. rear brake shoes (when changing 2x front pads)
8. Spark plugs (platinum 20k)
9. battery water if you using normal batt.

it is all depends on how much you drive.. some in town, it uses like just 100km per month... some travel long distance.. some jam daily.. so the mileage and period will need to consider.

I knew some owner will change engine oil at 10k km but that is like 2 years !! hahahhahaa

How about cabin filter? Necessary to change on every 50k Km or other? I checked back my service log...SC staff had changed it twice, 1st time at 10K KM second changed at 50k KM.

Recommend to be every 30k mileage.
I change my alza to denso iridium 0.4mm gap. It really improve.
Do get 5w30 engine oil instead of 5w40.
You will feel more power.
I recentku switch petrol to mobil and seen to be more petrol economy.
Fc 5.6km/100km for distance of all 100km.

Ahhh I missed tht one. You are right. I normally change it either 20k or 1 year. As about a year, the cabin filter is kind of dark grey. it is not costly thought (i think about RM15-18 or lower), just once a year.

So far no issue (touch wood). I have been getting the ATF (red cap) from spare part shop and the filter.

Only once or first time, he said tak cukup.. so add on... then i found that it is way too much (heavy).. so next round we use almost 2.8 or 3L and check the dip stick..

i think many AT light issue found on newer alza.. not sure if it is too sensitive with the different gearbox or new driver donno how to use the AT gearbox tongue.gif

Or I think many just get the engine to wash end up sensor rosak.. or maybe the spray spray wash wash solution that I saw many online. "Make your engine clean as easy as spray and rinse"...

I heard that Alza use ATF (red cap) but found out on Perodua wedside service package old Alza and Alza 2014 ATF oil litres different..
Don't know is same oil or not.. my version on 2016 no AT issue (touch wood), since now already replace 2 time ATF oil, odometer only 26xxxk till now.
Thinking to change ATF filter next round on 30xxxK

Alza FL gearbox having bigger capacity for ATF, not sure why is it so. but both uses D3-SP, if not mistaken, we only able to get D3-SP in Perodua SC.

Ya.. I checked this before.. it is confusing. Heard that new version of AT is smaller and I gotten my mechanic to check when changing ATF 2nd round. my older alza needs about 2.8l.

I think same red cap as i understand. the green one for older myvi, i think.
Previously also heard that older alza using green as told by spare part shop and mechanic too, I tried it once, but shoot, the gear shifts are not smooth and I have to change to red cap again. From then all red cap for my alza without problem.

Thought u mention b4 never never use red cap on alza. Must use green cap.
I nowadays let p2 sc replace the atf oil every 20k mileage without replace arc filter. Cost ard rm100

I don't think it is necessary to replace the ATF filter at 30K km. Probably do it at 100k km or if it's leaking, reason being nothing beat the original gasket/gasket maker that comes with your car.

I had my 10 years old myvi atf filter replaced at 180k km previously the filter does not seems beat up anyway.

Hi! I am considering to buy an alza, is it the best time to buy it now (no GST) or wait for the new facelift? I heard that new facelift will come out on oct 2018 but that time will have SST (10%!) anyone can give me some command? Thanks first.
