I have Myvis, even after no fuel estimate indicator still can drive to refuel. Quite strict/safe to be refuelling at 60+. But interested if any other Alza that can reach 10km estimate without refuel.

Tq for sharing!
SC also said not enough mill for ECU. But 52km = no fuel is very big measurement gap for a new car.

Your friend is worse, mine at least got 8km buffer lol. But what that means, I have to ensure I cant go low 60km also, very safe and strict limit else car kaput on road...  dry.gif

And Tq for sharing!

Below 50km, the range meter will show '---', cannot estimate, heart beat will dub dab faster ha ha

hi lyn alza users, i saw in the 1st page the recommend brake pad is bosch power plus. other than this, got any others brand brake pad to be recommend?
*
Pre fl alza can use same size brake pad as proton waja.

Fl alza use same size brake pad as vios.

Many brand to choose from, last time me using p2 brake pad buy at spare part but seems not as good as pre install from factory.

Use proride brake pad 1 time, good grip but harder on the disc

loan approved...will sign tomorrow morning....estimate will get the car next week.
btw, anyone here installed after market touch screen?
*
Better still also install reverse camera and roof camera.

Also if you want to monitor engine temperature, can install temp meter. Pic from my kancil. Bought the meter from forklift spare part shop. Cost below rm200 with adapter and installation

My perodua alza dvd player wont eject disk. The problem is, i already sent it for a fix. And i just got the dvd player few days ago. Should i ask for a dvd player replacement from perodua? The problem still exist now even after it undergo a fix in its own service centre.
*
Try go to main branch p2 sc, not p2 service dealer or small branch

Had a chat with alza owner, own alza for 5 years. He said that his alza cannot bring long item becos 2nd row seat not fully flat. Had to use his suv to bring long item.

Show him how to set 2nd row fully flat by pulling small tab behind 2nd row seat. And he said...."whoaaa.....5 years using alza but dunno that small tab for what ha ha"

5 years and didnt notice there's instruction sticker beside 2nd row seat...cannot imagine

Anyone dismantled 3rd row seat permanently? Is that DIY-able? How much additional boot space do you get over there?
*
Why dont you put carpet there and you cannot see the seat anymore.

If you dismantled 3rd row, the bonnet shape will be akward i guess since not flat anymore

Thanks. I asked about permanently dismantle 3rd row seat because I see by just folding it, the 'boot' space is still small (seems less than 500 ltr). Just curious whether can dismantle 3rd row seat to gain more storage space than 500 ltr...

*with boot cover, can only store as high as the grey area.

Asking in this forum in case someone did that before and can share.
*
It can be done. Seeing it while p2 foreman diassmmble all seat and change carpet bcoZ of flooding in my alza

Hi guys, im thinking of getting a Alza SE. came here to read some comments and review. Kind off taken away when reading the 1st page about common issues. Need some reassurance from current users. Thanks.
*
Before pass my alza to my friend, already clock 190k km, maintenance wise

1. Change all 4 tyre 3 times
2. Change front brake pad 3 times
3. Change full set absorber with mounting at 100k km
4. Change atf every 20k or 30k km
5. Normal service every 10k km
6. Numerous times change headlight and foglamp bulb before installing voltage stabilizer and grounding cable
7. Change floorboard carpet due to water seep in from buzzer wiring

Iinm my alza dont have any other big issue

To improve wind noise and sound insulation, me do

1. Install door sound proofing
2. Install extra rubber weatherstrip at all 4 door

Satisfy with my alza during my usage eventhough cannot compare with my opel zafira becoz different segment

anyone in here change their brake system ( caliper and disc rotor) to different car model system...example Honda odyssey? my alza brake really suxz...even change to brembo disc rotor and trw pad...i still feel the brake not really that "makan"..
*
Try change brake pedal hose to steel braided, it will not improve "makan" but it will improve brake pedal feel, easier to manipulate brake pressure.

Also try flushing brake fluid and adjust rear brake shoe to make it more "makan"

hurray, my SJCAM M10 just reached me.  I think most of you all would know what is it...
for me, I can use it as camera, dashcam (using back the existing car power adapter), helmet cam, underwater cam, etc with the standard accessories.

Going to install it nanti to replace the rear view mirror dashcam that used for 2 years.  Will try also on helmet.
*
isn't it will be hassle to mount/dismount your sjcam compared to dashcam which is fixed to your car

*

hi all..long time no come to this forum jor.

wanna ask

1.how long normally to change absorber & spring?
recently feel like the car banging all the roads hole and uneven road harshness until my car recorder going into emergency record..and can feel the car very "hard n strength" ..is it time to change absorber? or cause by 16inch rim ?

2. what brands of absorber to recommend for alba beside original ? i only heard of proride n IMP ?
3. what u guys preferred fully sythentic oil? been using Total (Elf) for some times..

btw my alza going to 6 years when CNY 2017...tot of changing car but no $$  biggrin.gif

sharing sharing  biggrin.gif
*
me change absorber and absorber mounting at 100k km, change at p2sc, using original part, cost around rm600-rm700 iinm, 2014 price.

Before that try using proride, better handling but after 3 month k.o already. Thats why me change back to ori abs, reliability more important for me than slightly improve handling

Oh, always thought it was apm or something. You replaced at p2 though, why? Always thought they overprice their parts. I know their absorber selling for rm260 now when you can get it straight from Kayaba at rm140.
*
change it at p2 becoz proride absorber installer damage my rubber spring holder, have to order at p2 becoz normal spare part shop didnt have stock.

And at that time p2 got service promo, all in with absorber, absorber mounting, rubber for spring holder and labour charge not more than rm700 iinm. Dunno cheap or not becoz proride abs price also more or less the same.

Proride abs got 6 month warranty but didnt bother to claim becoz use 3 month k.o already, dont want the hassle to claim and k.o again

Change ori abs at 100k km, still good until i swap my alza with my friend at 190k km

i wonder if Thule Motion is a good brand for the roof box on alza ?

btw what are the disadvantage is we add this roof box on alza? cant go 110km/h on highway ?
*
if follow manual, not advise speed more than 120 iinm. You will hear tornado at your alza roof ha ha.

Me using thule ranger 90 at my other car, sometimes speed more than 140, other than excessive wind noise, all is ok but please make sure all clamp are tight
