Anyone has experience with Dr. Nicholas Lim from Columbia Asia PJ? Please share with me as I am switching doctor from klinik ss15 to him. TQ in advanced.

He's very nice guy though my wife doesnt like him hahahaha
I feel he's okay while going through the appointment, but she said both of them doesnt click.
We went Dr Bheena in the end
Despite my wife, he's a nice guy though, quite careful.

Anyone had C-sec at Columbia Asia lately? What's the delivering price?

Delivered at late december pricing 11k single room C-sec operation under Dr Bheena.
Very patient good doctor.
Strongly recommended.

Is there any other hidden fees? I would like to be prepared from now

How about the fees on monthly checkup?
Will bring my wife for 1st checkup any time soon.

Each visit are costing around Rm140-RM200
Not sure it's different stage of checkup or the time
I feel like weekdays are cheaper than weekend although i didnt ask.

Already forgot how much tests i've done, 2 maybe? The most expensive are the down syndrome are around RM500

Was with DrNicholas before, not say he's not good but my wife are more comfortable with female doctor DrBheena.

Not really got hidden fee, you can always ask the price before you proceed to do any test.
For the delivering, the doctor wont let you know the price until the date are near.
But it's always there la, you can check up the forum, i think many has discuss about between normal delivering and c-sec already.

I saw Dr Cecelia in Assunta for 5 visits. Honestly picked her because she was the only female doctor and she has previous good reviews. However I think the reviews are quite old as my experience with her was definitely different as she is now over busy with too many patients.

Her costs has also significantly gone up with each visit costing about RM190.

The most annoying thing about seeing her is the waiting time. Even if you have an appointment, its first come first serve. So wait times are about 3 hours unless you come at 730am even if you have a 11am appointment.

As a doctor she is very informative. Gives you all information however her bedside manner is not exploratory. She does not ask questions or how the patient is feeling rather choosing to make assumptions based on the what she thinks is correct for the occasion. For example I saw her until my 5th month and she never asked me if I had any morning sickness..

Other matter is she believes in giving a lot of irrelevant information which some might find annoying. In my last visit she lectured me about stress levels moving into telling me about her different patients who had strokes and others who develop breast cancer. This went on for 30 mins.

I chose to switch doctors because of the waiting times and my mental health. Everytime I had an appointment I was more stressed about seeing her than anything else. Hahaha.

I totally agree with the above. The waiting hours are ridiculous. She does not show concern for the patient. Very busy typing and updating what she thinks is right rather than explaining and making the patient understand the diagnosis and treatment. No empathy, probably arrogant ad does not lend her ears. Pinpoint other irrelevant stuff, very stressful.

Talks about irrelevant stuff and other patients dying of heart attack.

No ethics at all. Dr Cecilia grow up or grow out of the profession.

Is the waiting time for follow up bearable?

Make it earliest as possible, less queue. The most longest i've waited are 1hour. Arrived the hospital around 10.

Dr Liew Fah Onn frm assunta hospital is a good gynae.
He's honest, understanding, practical and very good at his job.
He checks his patient for everything to make sure he doesn't miss out any issue related to baby and mother health and gives good advise or saving tips to his clients.
He takes his role as doc seriously so u may see him unhappy if u got his explanation wrong but his intentions are good and honest.
Waiting time for him is also reasonable.

My wife is visiting Dr Bheena in Columbia Asia PJ now.. So far, we are quite happy with her service as she is very patient and willing to explain everything to us... We don't know much since this is our first baby.

Anyone care to share experience of delivery (either natural, hypno birth or caesarean). Will Dr Bheena normally push for caesarean or natural birth? Or this is pretty much depends on the actual situation then?

Appreciate if you guys can share experience of delivering in Columbia Asia or Dr Bheena in particular.. Do Columbia Asia PJ has all the facilities required? Or should I say do Columbia Asia PJ lack any specific facility when it comes to baby delivery? Thanks.
