It depends if u r willing to play some games with black borders on the sides since even till today the amount of games supporting 21:9 ratio is pretty limited. Not to mention u need at least something like a gtx1070 to drive it to turn up those eye candies.

Back light bleed sure have one bro on todays ips panel on gaming monitor. Dont be too sad, we know we are paying crazy price for such defect behaviour, you should be very very happy if its minimal and tolerable to your eye.

At first also i got a perception ok i want perfect no backlight bleed. But after changing 2 monitors, still sama only. At last alright accept the fact and live with it. But i tune down the brightness to very low like 15 nots only so bleed is not so obvious.

Look at the bright side, ok these monitors are awesome, beautiful colours and fast fps supported. Amazing when playing games. smile.gif

So far this my only 1st monitor for ultrawide screen. and I played so far need to get myself used to wide extra pixel display. other than that is very very enjoyable for movie and games

Thanks for your input.

Because we kept hearing people who complained getting bad copy of the screen, thinking Acer QC is very bad, so I guess it isn't that bad. I got last years 1440p 144hz screen and I liked it very much.

If I haven't buy it last year, I'll definitely buy this one.

once we had this 1440p 144hz, we can never go back.

I'm also truly enjoying it very much, games like LoL or CS Go, last time when the screen is crowded or pack with actions, I was like omg what had happened and my character is dead. Now I can view every single frame and take control of it. tongue.gif

Next upgrade is 4k 144hz either wide or ultra wide. It will come in a few years time. So by the time can upgrade again.
