Hi TS,

go to normal mechanic workshop. you will be surprised the cost is about 2-3k to fix it. ignore SC since your warranty over.
*
if gearbox affected which i think is the main problem...2-3k wont fix it

When I bought my Inspira I only serviced it twice at SC. The hell with warranty. 3 years later still no problem. Never needed warranty.

That's how much I trust Proton to make a reliable car.
*
if u know what to change, thn u no need to worry but not everyone are like us

u should know some ppl dnt even know a car needs service
its call wimminz
i know many wimminz who can drive the car until the whole engine compartment is dry as a bone and still going
and she got the tits to say...need service meh???? laugh.gif
so go back SC service do have its purposes

Wira/Saga/Waja/Perdana all taken from Mitsubishi design, all lots of small problem but no rocket science or big money to fix. still lots of them on the road shows how reliable they are abeit low tech & lack of safety equipments.
*
the lower tech the car is, the more reliable it is
looks at saga BLM, still many....no BS electronics inside, just plain simple design

you are a noob if you say that.

nowadays it's not about what you know need to change, it's about how much you know about THAT PARTICULAR CAR.

there are parts that has obvious design flaws that no matter how soft you drive the car & how often you change the oil it will still break, that is something out of your control, that is why there's Warranty. you buy high tech car you say you know how to maintain a car so you void your warranty by servicing outside? Smart.

Personally I reject any cars with fancy high tech stuffs like DSG, Small Engine High Boost Turbos, too many sensors & stuff. VW & Audi can sell because their main consumers don't wait until the car fails before buying a new one, and people whom buy used ones are poor people, nobody cares about them.
*
if everyone knows car so much/so well
NO ONE in this world would have bought a car with DSG or conti cars laugh.gif

1st CVT service is 40k
if they pour the wrong oil in thn kong, its will happen within warranty period
