go to normal mechanic workshop. you will be surprised the cost is about 2-3k to fix it. ignore SC since your warranty over.

When I bought my Inspira I only serviced it twice at SC. The hell with warranty. 3 years later still no problem. Never needed warranty.

That's how much I trust Proton to make a reliable car.

thats not due to proton la. same as iswara and wira being reliable workhorses. due to jap dna inside ma.
their own like savvy..dunno dont see many running like how often i see 1st gen myvis and kancils on the road.

Wira/Saga/Waja/Perdana all taken from Mitsubishi design, all lots of small problem but no rocket science or big money to fix. still lots of them on the road shows how reliable they are abeit low tech & lack of safety equipments.

nowadays it's not about what you know need to change, it's about how much you know about THAT PARTICULAR CAR.

there are parts that has obvious design flaws that no matter how soft you drive the car & how often you change the oil it will still break, that is something out of your control, that is why there's Warranty. you buy high tech car you say you know how to maintain a car so you void your warranty by servicing outside? Smart.

Personally I reject any cars with fancy high tech stuffs like DSG, Small Engine High Boost Turbos, too many sensors & stuff. VW & Audi can sell because their main consumers don't wait until the car fails before buying a new one, and people whom buy used ones are poor people, nobody cares about them.

i got mine, engine prob, right from the show room!
end up in SC for one month waiting for the new engine, and installation. After that, no problem till now.

thats not what i mean, where's the fun in driving some manual wira or manual myvi..usually ppl buy those for cost reasons, not because they are great manual cars

deswai i say no reason for me to buy and own those low end manual. 

a extra 4k is too much
