If u going to spend RM 33k, better look for halfcut engine and swap then only try to sell it off cheaply.

Euro marque need plenty of TLC.

My 3008 now rotting outside the workshop due to lack of parts. Gonna do some research to shove another engine inside. Got a spare 4G63-T lying on the floor. The EP6 is the worse engine in the world. Engineering failed. Why put a high pressure fuel pump on the engine? Engine vibrates like no tomorrow. The pump will die every 2-3 years and cost up to RM 4K to replace. Sampah!

Just wondering, which workshop did you send to?

Under warranty, Naza Glenmarie.

After warranty, Peug Auto. They replaced the high and low pressure fuel pumps. But car still misfiring. Lastly, I opt to take the car back after the owner told me must replace entire engine.

Now, car with Renau Garage. They found misfiring from cylinders 1-3. ECU possibility faulty. Now still checking. If really engine kaput, the EP6 will end up as my coffee table. Stupid French tech.

Actually you can try Renautech too, they are French specialist and charges are ok (cheaper than SC). Most importantly, they know what they're doing. Maybe you can try checking your car there prior to visiting the SC and get quotations for fixes.

Not that I own a French car but most workshops avoided fixing my Savvy last time.

Renautech is for Renault. Renau Garage is for Peugeot. Same owner, same mechanics just different location.

My 3 units of Savvy AMT all done at Keng Chuan. Zero problems.

because is a direct injected turbocharged twin scrolled super high class technology mah.
so put high pressure fuel pump there to pressurize the fuel rail for high class direct injected fuel to the cylinder head for more better combustion effects.

please don't compared to low class 3 bar port injected turbo. those are old technology dinosaur era engine
*
That's why stupid system. Engine vibration will kill the pump prematurely. Evo X with 1000hp all have high pressure pumps inside the tank or external away from vibrations. Suspect, Peugeot lazy engineers wanted the pump to he cam driven to save cost.

If it's just the fuel pump then why not decouple the internal fuel pump, bypass it and use an aftermarket pump?

Rather than trying to put 4g63 into the body
*
Can't because there are 2 sensors for low and high pressure pumps. Disconnect low pressure and replace with high pressure will result in ECU errors.

My 308T had miss firing, change the spark plug coil ok oledi.
The computer can see one which coil lifespan %.
No need to change all ignition coil and if you are on a budget, even the VTI coil fits.
Difference between Vti and Turbo version coil is Turbo one is half metal (probably for heat protection).  Vti one is all black.
I stay close to Singapore so parts got many, new and also halfcut stuff.

I sold my 308T oledi, cannot tahan maintenance.

Speak plugs and coil plugs are new. Still misfiring. Wiring confirmed ok. Last suspect could be the ECU.

This is last resort. If not, the EP6 will be my coffee table. 4G63T waiting on the floor. Fed up with shitty French tech. They can't make reliable cars unlike WW2 days.

Low pressure in the tank keep lar.
Replace the high pressure pump in the engine. Carry over both pressure sensor to the new system.

Or clamp the sensor output to nominal value. Kenot meh?

Nope.

Low pressure pump mainly to let engine start / idle.

High pressure pump for boost.

If I put both pumps into the tank and leave the sensors intact, might work. Will find a spare tank to experiment first.
