any experienced player live around cheras willing to share their experience to me face to face? XD

Added on January 4, 2008, 2:29 amactually i hav no idea wat to adjust, issit the main point to adjust is to make the upper properller speed same as lower speed?

yaya.. i'm now thinking bout V3..hehe
coaxial?? means 3D? wat is the 3D n 4D? watz the direction means??

TQ
*
coaxial, mean 2 blades in front, got upper blade and lower blade, dual motor
its diff than those 6 channel only 1 blade in front and 1 blade behind, both are totally diff heli but newbies always start wit coaxial to feel the heli first rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

*im still wit coaxial - v3 lama, going to switch to BELT CP *

Omg ejat, you go straight to Belt CP ? Belt CP is a nightmare heli even for Experienced player, it need to modded and changed a lot of part before it can hover nicely, anyway i joining a gang flying @ Balakong, If you interested you can pm me and i'll tell you where is the exact place.

according to my sifu, belt-cp is very nightmare for 6channel newbies and its oso quite hard for those experience one, cos the stock settings are not stable and many parts like receiver/TX/Gyro/Servo nid to changed to better 1 in order to fly stable.

btw my heli ----> V3 Lama ---> Honey Bee King FP2 ---> Honey Bee King 2 (wishlist ) ---> Compy300 / Belt CP (wishlist too)

before i tot CP is easy to play coz its 450 class, but after my sifu and some of others owner of BELT CP i seen, now i noe how nightmare is belt CP , but its price and its size.. really tempting drool.gif

wah seriously? im thinkin of getting Belt CP as well.

then what 6-channel heli would you recommend for me? i've played with those co-axial 4-channel ones so far.
*
i would suggest you to try Honey Bee king (FP2) 4 channel first.
first its not a coaxial anymore, for your infromation, coaxial and the 6 channel heli you are going to play is definately diff things, you cant learn anything from co-axial 4 channel to play those 6 channel ( Front blade n Behind blade one )
so Honey bee King FP2 , is suitable for pre-6 channels i think. just my 2 cents smile.gif

anyway just discuss wit RC kakis frens today.

compare to others, Look like Belt CP is not a good choice for 450 class.
it come wit E-Sky TX wit price rm 700 which stated "RTF"
but after you change CNC rotor set, CNC head and other upgrades like FUTABA TX it cost like rm 1.5k to rm 2k.

for that $$ , A completed TREX cost like rm 2.5k. so its better to get TREX if you are serious in RC heli
btw Dont expect BELT CP stock setting can do you a 3d fly, sometimes Hover'ing a Stock Belt CP is a hard job too. Even for a experienced one.

so i'd to stick to class 300 first XD

io have a RC Heli that i just bought a week ago..i broke the blades on the second day XD..my Heli had some probs with the movement so it isnt stable and crashes lol..on my Heli Manual..it says the heli control has a virtual heli flying software that you can use on your computer..my Heli model is Lama or something like that...its the lenght of my keyboard..anybody can pm me a site that gives more information about RC heli please..
*
where do you stay? Mayb i can help you if its minor problem, but complicated problem you can visit to BTHO Flying site, lots of sifus here willing to help out.

Btw about that software, do you have a cable connect to PC? if you dont hav you can purchase 1 at around rm 30.
And software you have to donwload yourself, the most basic software and free one is FMS. google it out and download it, its free.

acutally going forward/backwards oni? is settable, either set with your Transmitter. If transmitter set to maximum still going 1 side, you can adjust on the Helicopter.

so how do your heli slides? If front, u can adjust on the Remote slightly counter back with the moveable thing beside the stick.
same goes to Slide to right, left. Just counter them.

If you tried it even set to the max on your transmitter but still not enough to counter them, you can adjust the Linkage on the helicopter.

where are you from Frostfox?

the guy recommended me lama V4 smile.gif so it must be for begginers
*
and yes All LAMA ( Co axial are good for beginners to learn orientations )

btw , according your LAMA v4 problem, goes backward ya?
ok about the trimmer how it works

did u see the little moveable thing beside the both joystick?
i dono whether your using Mode1 or mode2

most hobby shop selling Mode1 Transmitter,
Its Throttle and Aleron at right, Rudder and elevator at left. Ya?

so if your Heli is moving backward, That mean your Elevator is "too backward" , so set the Left side, Straight one "I" moveable stick to Front, slowly adjust until your heli stable.

Every Moveable stick shud put to Middle at the first time u play the heli, except Throttle one, its recommended to set to lowest.
and after adjust your moveable stick like what i said to achieve balance so u can release your hand and ur heli is still stable smile.gif

BTW I JUST GOT MY NEW ESKYHONEY BEE TODAY WOOHARRRR smile.gif
release hand 10-15 seconds still can maintain stable, wat a nice heli thumbup.gif

To all newbie...Just to remember always counter your heli with your own finger not by transmitter! it took me 1 month and spent thousands of ringgit sad.gif just to learn hovering skill. now i be able to do some mild 3D stuff ie: inverted and roll smile.gif. keep it up...don't give up.
For those who are interested in RC heli, pls join us at bukit jeluong Funfly every sunday morning. withness the most keng RC heli 3D master in malaysia.
*
for coaxial heli i think the 'counter by finger' is not needed most of the time since its toooo way stable unless your setting goes wrong,ya?
but for FP or CP class, yea u always nid to counter wit ur own finger, thats the FUN OF THE HELI yay! now i get bored wit my Lama smile.gif

whats your heli?
your first Heli is 6-channel CP heli?
bravo thumbup.gif

i highly recommended to get Esky if your thinking to get Lama, because esky spare part can be found easily in kl/selangor/any hobby shop.

btw, you should upgrade to FP or CP, coaxial is enuf. just 1 Coaxial is enuf, just my 2cent

QUOTE(lighter @ Feb 21 2008, 02:11 PM)
hi all experts,

i'm a beginner.. i've bought belt-cp past 2 months.. i've crashed twice.. first crashed i sent to repair and parts replacement that cost me about rm80..
2nd crashed was just the blade and mainshaft.. i've replaced the carbon fiber main bladees, mainshaft and feathering shaft by myself.. other parts seems ok so i just leave it..

now whenever i throttle from slow spinning my heli keep vibrating.. but when i throttle up to higher speed and heli start fyling it seems ok and stable..

anyone know what's the problem? do you guyz think cuase of unbalance main blade?
*
helo, may i noe your location?

As what i heard/know, belt cp is quite a wild beast too if its your first heli, of coz if you are a experienced RC heli pilot ( dont count those co-axials Heli ) , that should be no prob, but the problem of setting up a CP plane is still quite hard for most ppl.

so, stop playing for now, until you can find a sifu beside u and set for you, well. stop going for hobby shop i suggest you, try to find the nearest flying site , and join them and seek for sifu to help you.

3D flight? are u sure?

The price over there is expansive, go to amcorp mall is cheaper

Added on February 23, 2008, 4:59 am

esky LAMA V3 cost around 200 with 4 channel control, why go for 3 channel but same price?
*
yea market price for a v3 is rm 200 now, while v4,robins,commanche is all around rm 250. they share the same thing the diff is the outlook diff smile.gif so i suggest to get v3.
btw laf that small heli to do 3d is a joke, but i hv seen some 100size heli doing 3d tho, but that would be costing you rm 700+.

if your going to serious in rc heli yea Please AT LEAST go for 4 channel. 3 channel is a toy and it will not last long for you.
smile.gif
btw Madcentury do you play RC too?

well, did u find that when you do figure 0 or figure 8 with your belt cp, the nose will just drop?
its belt-cp common problem, basically its not a problem , its a design problem..
changing to others 450 head should help this , and tail rotor? err i nvr hear they complain the tail part. and i not really know belt cp much coz i nvr own a belt -cp, of coz i wil not choose it in the future coz its obviously not a good choice among all 450 classes.
currently im saving and wishlist : Compy300 + Futaba 6EX

Owned a Lamav3, Esky FP2 currently.

Hovering wit FP2 now. finish Tail in, Side. Left Nose in.

how about u guys?

Added on February 25, 2008, 12:23 pmOh do you mean the tail rotor is the Tail Gyro?
