since by law the radio will require an AP to be imported in ... thats why we dont import radios in ourselves but get it locally

I'm not so sure about it... but if it's the radio alone you'll be having problems as the gov fear that people will use it against them (hack into their walkie talkie channel)...

Since i'm buying the whole thing that come together with the remote control and marked as "Toy+Gift". Just hope that i will not get a call from custom then~

its not a matter of using it against them ... its just a requirement by law .. just like u buy a car/house/gun u need to have certain legal items and approval

try not to get something with a MOTOR TAIL ... it is alot of headache
something belt driven or torque tube .. this way u get more air time and minimise down time trying to get the tail motor to work properly .. hahahaha

then u dont have much choice already ... a decent radio alone will cost u at least rm600 brand new .. helis and other stuff not included

for rm500 ... u can get the ESKY belt CP (i dont like this one at all) ... ESKY king2 ( this one is preferred but smaller than the belt CP) .. or u can get a ESKY honeybee FP (this one very good for learning and minimum damages in crashes but motor tail) for less than rm400 i think
those are the majority of the choices that u will have ... other than that your budget does not allow u to do much ... rc helis are not cheap

eg ... IF u go for the belt CP ... by the time u factor in the upgrades u are going to do coz hard to fly in stock form ... the cost will almost come to an ALIGN heli already ... then the stock RTF radio is not programmable and the stock settings are very aggressive and will cause more bad than good for beginners

and that heli is not recommended for beginners .. the smaller the heli the more sensitive it is and harder to control ..

Finally~~ my 4g6 got some movement from the custom~~
I faxed them the invoice state: Walkera 4g6 Helicopter (Gift Package), and my wife told the person incharge that it is a "mainan helicopter"~

Just got my 4g6, haven't open the box cause I leave it for my wife to open since she like to open gifts~

Here come the total cost of it...
4g6 RTF Kit + Postage: RM 874.40
Custom Tax (5% + ST10%): RM 138.23
Pos Malaysia Service Charge: RM 50.50
TOTAL:RM 1063.13


Based on the custom Form 1, which pos malaysia help me to fill~~ They put in INSURANCE which are not included in my invoice making me paying more on the custom tax~!!

Will post some photo later when the box is opened~

Oh..... i don't know about their price.... will check it out when i go to KL...

The ping pong balls comes together with the package... so just leave it.... who knows, i might put those on when i'm flying it for the 1st time...
