Got my car over the weekend, having faced Air Cond issue.
Stupid air-conditioning system is blowing hot air at Temp fixed at Lo using the dials after 10-20 mins
Brought to SC in PJ, the advisor tested and acknowledge there is hot air and not ideal and told me to come back after 2 weeks as they are full...
Sales is good, After Sales is full of shit, expect me to drive around with hot air for 2 weeks.
Was stuck in traffic downtown and imagine had hot sun all the way had to roll down because the whole interior was full with hot air...f*£#ing crap man

Can write email to CEO also no use, unless it's reported in mainstream like the takata issue or the be emission issue...
I can accept there is issue, but I kenot tahan the tidak apa attitude...u not happy so what, we got a lot of people buying our car and a lot more people come to Service...then they say I'm just a worker...aren't you also given the responsibility to ensure that the customers issues are resolved?
Very bad experience with SC in PJ, konon near the HQ of HM M'sia office, so the technical people are very up to date in training but the attitude of looking the urgency in the cases is very disappointing...
They forget, now we don't have a choice because the car was just bought, but after this, not gonna buy HM products
Look at all the fallen giants and learn from there...

How frequent is the aircon issue? Have u tried off for few seconds then turn on? I faced the aircon issue twice while adjusting the temp and play a bit with the hu, both during slow moving traffic. Surely its a bug.

Hey there,

Thanks for advice...advisor also told me the same... didn't work.
1 this model comes with heater, so u get a mix of cold and hot air
2. Off and on the airc still doesn't remove the thermostat where it will auto cut and the hot air mixture will kick in

Not sure why HM has made this model with hot air mixture, it's not like we're in a country with 4 seasons

See my settings beloe

How u get the Lo temp? I settled with 24-25C, cold enough for my liking.

Hi,

For the temps, I used the dials...like volume dials

If it is software bugs, it should impact all for TCP, but looks like only certain TCP?

PJ does not have "Jalan Versatile" but think I know which 3S you went to.

$umber @uto  €daran Sec13 has numerous complains on its service centre.

Agree with this! Was playing with the HU also then it happens. If leave it alone no problem

I still don't think it's to do with the electronics.
Every car has a temperature gauge, but it depends on the mode you're on.

If it's Auto, just like the house ac, it will cool down the interior until the desired temperature set, and then cut offf (can be seen in the manual)...it will then be turned on again once the ambient temperature rises.

From my point of view there is 2 issues:
1. If it's Manual, then the ac shud just function by blowing air at that temperature and not cut off.

2. The problem here is this model, irrespective of being 1.8/TP/C is fitted with the ac unit that mixes hot and cold air to produce the desired temperature which this system is usually for cars in countries where they have a winter season for the heater purposes.

So in conclusion, what we get is, a cutting off even when it's on manual and to add on to that, blowing hot air.

This is just my theory...
