Hi All,

New owner of TC-P Metallic Steel.

Totally satisfied with this car. Luckily don't have the air-cond and rattling issues that some had faced. I really love the FC of this car. Simillar to my Axia. It does lived up with it's EEV status.

I just want to add some feature that haven't been highlighted yet.

Have any of you tried Auto cruise with Econ mode? it does really help with the FC. You don't have to drive light footed. The computer does it for you. It will try to maintain above 15km/l to accelerate. Once it reached the set speed it will maintain around 20km/l. With this effect, you will feel very minimal acceleration to almost none. With this i can just cruise and play around the auto cruise button to follow the speed of front vehicle. To be safe you have to keep some distance.

If off Econ mode, the auto cruise will accelerate the car quickly to reach the set speed. Not so good to use for cruising around urban roads.

I have issues with android auto. Managed to install it but my HU did not respond. I suspect it could be because I'm using Asus Padfone. Need to test with other phones first to confirm. I saw some other user have same issue like with Zenfone

There's a post about the GPS speed vs meter speed is not the same. The reason behind is because of the UNECE requirement that requires manufacture to have display speed not less than true speed. With tolerance included they will design the display speed to show around +3 to +5km/h more than true speed. I know this because I was involved in meter cluster development.

You can check the source here.

QUOTE
5.3. The speed indicated shall not be less than the true speed of the vehicle. At the test
speeds specified in paragraph 5.2.5. above, there shall be the following relationship
between the speed displayed (V1 ) and the true speed (V2).
0 ≤ (V1 - V2) ≤ 0.1 V2 + 4 km/h

What's your % of city & highway driving?

Most of us on 100% city driving (<60kmph only register 10km/L and lower on our Turbo engines)
*
I think around 20% city and 80% highway for going to work. I got around 14 to 18km/l depend on traffic conditions.

For sure 90% city driving would net around 9-11km/l. My first fillup was 10.9 km/l and the value tally with fill and measure method.

I can also say that the meter FC is quite accurate. My Axia is off by +1km/l and my previous City 2010 was off around -2.2km/l

For those who are using the pedal lock. I use the Aorto Lock system and I asked the installer to not connect the wiring cable. With that I can do the remote start. Disadvantage would be that it will not disconnect the ignition on feature.

Wow that's great. Although I wonder why. I think the y cable is supposed to "hard" disconnect the Ignition right?
