Trust me. The remote start is a good add on but most owners wont be using it that often in the long term. Its good if ure seated a short distance away and want to cool down the car before entering but how often are we gonna be in that situation? Most of the time we'll walk up to the car and get in straight. Surely wont be hanging around outside just to use the remote start.

The tint is not just for heat rejection and to cool a car down. Its also to keep out harmful UV rays and for security. My main purpose in getting the tint is for these 2 reasons. Heat rejection is secondary.

i actually use it to warm the car in the morning. can remote start even from my room which is on the second floor at the back of the house.

questions for sifu: will the drag from the AC in the morning from the remote start give unnesecery stress to the engine, starter etc??

Bro, this should not be done. Ure just polluting the environment. New gen cars do not need to be warmed up by idling. You warm up by driving immediately after starting. That's the fastest and best way to reach optimum operating temperature.
*
ok la Sifu. confirm ar..

i can save some petrol in the morning and evening liao den. smile.gif

TC got "hard" knobs and buttons to adjust fan speed and on/off. i think i've never gone into the climate menu since the day i took the car.

plus i rarely use Auto. cuz manual says optimum temp for car is 22c. so my aircon always 22c hehe

I collected in the afternoon after my badminton game nearby. The previous day car reached the showroom and the tinting was done in the evening of the 17th
*
Sorry den bro. I collected at 11am tongue.gif

It's ok at least your car doesn't have rattling . I'd rather be the last with a car that has no issues

That's great!
How has your TC been doing? Has the rattling issue been solved?
*
not yet bro. servicing this saturday.

funny thing is the rattling sounds less than when i picked the car up couple weeks ago.

mayb already conditioned to it.

i know exactly where the noise is coming from. there's this plastic thing on the top right of the dashboard. if you have your hand firmly on it the rattling stops.

also got some steering rattling but i think there's a solution for that.

some say rattling sound hardest to detect and fix.

I remember someone went and checked right after they got the car. Don't remember who, but he found that the alignment and camber was out iirc.

-Edit- it was Alternation lol! SOS
Sure bro, i've pm'ed you on this.
Really? My previous FD2 always ran to the left. My FC1 luckily now runs 100% straight. Hope it remains that way

HM won't do alignment for me when I service?

But they have advised if Any noise related issues checking is only done during weekdays.

Guys, is it true that the civic x is able to lock the doors automatically when speed is above 20kmph? I was told by SA there is no need to install OBD auto lock because can set ourselves..
*
car will auto lock above 15kmh

there's another "Click" at 50kmh i think that triggers the cruise control
