Thanks for your input guys. Yea, guess I have to decide if the led headlamps are worth the extra $. An option may be to slap on some HIDs for the projectors. Lets see smile.gif

In case you didn't know, owners up north in the Land of Smiles have been retrofitting their Civic X with the LED headlamps for about RM3k after converted. Pretty sure you can do the same soon over here.

Normally a person who wrote such bad comments wanted to purchase but cannot AFFORD it. Hence comes out with 1001 bad reasons for it

I recalled there's another fella which condemn Civic in V1, in the end bought the cheaper VW Vento

Except me I suppose. I've been wanting to buy this Civic since day 1 but at the moment can't afford it just yet. But still, I absolutely love this thing! biggrin.gif

Guys, does this help you? Just created a simple Excel file to calculate your loan balance + estimated car value. Can be used for any type of car - you can modify any values as well.

You just need to edit car value, your deposit & interest rate. The other cells are calculated automatically from those 3 values.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/8i8nk4ddxffy50y/C...%20V2.xlsx?dl=0

Updated file to lock unrelated cells
*
this would be useful for me. But somehow I can't seem to modify any cells at all, am I missing something?

Yes, inside my house compound. Will do a police report after this - just in case. Hopefully the police would step up their patrol in my area before anything bad happens.

Or maybe... They're hunting Pokemons. But since you said the past week, maybe that isn't it.

Install the motion sensing spot light in front of your house.

To the 1.8S owners... How's the fuel consumption so far? Kinda keen to know.

FC is good. The CVT helps a lot. Nothing to worry about.

But as always, FC is more dependent on how you drive than the car itself. U can drive the most fuel efficient car in the world but if your driving methods are not economical, then it won't be fuel efficient for sure.
*
That's very true, and I can attest to that, definitely. Do you have the numbers?

Just had a chance traveling to KL today, the car still below 1000km, not thinking of pushing too much, and yet the car is very steady at 150km per hr, rpm still below 3000, feel like 120 at my old Persona, with even quieter cabin with minimum engine roar.

It is hard to drive with official speed limit as too tempted to push more.
*
Hey Sean, may I know the fuel consumption for the 1.8S during your drive to KL?

Bro. I was getting around 15km per l with speed above limit Most of time without Econ mode. I try later with econ mode at 120 and see how is the result. But this figure seem close as per official claim, right?
*
Wow that's seriously impressive. Imagine what would you get if you stick to ECON and 110kph cruise control.

I always go nearest as I could. Sometimes the ticketing booth is abit higher. Have to stretch my arms

I once thought about this too. I'm about 190cm tall and during my first encounter with the Civic I sat on the driver's seat with the lowest height configuration; and then I realized I can't adjust any higher because my hair would touch the ceiling of the car tongue.gif
