I'm just wondering why Civic TC require more frequent service interval compared to VW turbocharged and Ford Ecoboost?
Technology wise looks similar or VW/Ford have more experience in building turbo engine?

Turbo charged engine generally runs hotter and would generally need better oil. Just make sure you stick to the oil recommended in the car manual.

that's common sense and understandable. i'm just wondering what make this turbo engine more "manja" compared to those from VW/Ford.

Japanese car generally has shorter OCI than Conti.

The strange thing is, sometimes the same Conti in Malaysia have shorter OCI.
