Hi everyone, planning to get the 1.5TC Honda Civic, but the sales man keep on hard sell me the 1.8 spec. Is that the 1.5TC version got go many problem such as overheat, and air cond shut down automatically?

I also can hear some ratling noise at dashboard when at low speed. Will they rip off the whole dashboard to fix this? I afraid if they rip off and fix again, the finishing will not be like new car.

Any idea guys?

In that case I will live with it as long as the sound is not unbearable. It is just a very mild sound which can be heard if the speaker is turned off.

Mine has noise all over the car. they took out the dashboard twice to lay insulator inside to minimise the gap (thats the only solution it seems). still has noise tho, not fully fixed.  Civic dashbaord has no screw, all are plastic clips. That is how/where the noise generated.

i've escalated this case to HM. 2months old car has got so many rattling sound.

Btw, the noise is very loud, constantly. Even the technician and service advisor also told me "your car rattling sound very loud ah"

No wonder why my dad still keep his Civic FD2 untill now lots of ppl complain abt this new Civic

I also keeping my FD2, suddenly i'm civic hardcore fans from outsider's perspective.
