I haven't touch anything because I just got the car a few days ago and haven't read the manual. But its pretty obvious its the back button that's going wonkers. The original screen protector was there and I thought it was the one causing problems...until after I removed it, wiped any extra dusts off and still find it beeping like WALL-E in the Disney movie.

Guys, I totally agree with you. This car is a mess. I mean just today I found out that it corners absolutely FLAT! Why would anybody want that? And there's a light on the dashboard to tell you when you're accelerating too much - as if the ECO mode wasn't enough to slow us down! Furthermore who uses Cruise Control...nobody in Malaysia sticks to one speed no matter how far they drive isn't it? NOBODY!!

Don't get me started with the automatic features...I can never understand why people would want to have their lights on after they've stopped the car. Auto-start? Who warms their car nowadays??? Auto-lock?? I want to TOUCH MY REMOTE!!!


Look at this, another reason not to buy a Civic!

just some update on my car today...reverse camera didn't work for a while until I went back to Neutral and back to Reverse gear. And the HUD went beep beep beep when I tried to turn the radio back on (power button top right)...which it didn't turn on. I had to go to the menu and press Audio.

Does anyone know if the 1k service will change black oil or just checking the engine components?

I leather-ed up my Civic...why would that affect airbag OR void warranty?
1) airbags are not on the seats...
2) if it'll void warranty, why does Honda have panels to do seats?

btw, I spoke to 3 Honda salesperson already and all say it can be done with Honda panels or outside shops if you prefer. No problem there. The only issue was what color lining you want with the choice of leather color

just came back from Glenmarie workshop...they didn't get rattling noise under the steering wheel, right side during inspection. But the moment I drove out...the noise is there

sometimes its impossible to avoid stones even if you avoid driving behind lorries...I was on a different lane and still stones fly off my windscreen =.=
already kena two large chips on front of car...

why unwrap? My old car I didn't unwrap plastic (on some parts) for 4 years
my monitor's plastic has been there for 7 years
