hey guys, have you done the coating for your civics? I want to ask if they coat the interiors and wheels as well...and how long you have to leave your cars there.

QUOTE(squall_kay @ Jul 30 2016, 02:19 PM) I'm just wondering why Civic TC require more frequent service interval compared to VW turbocharged and Ford Ecoboost? Maybe different size of turbo? VW and Ford definitely have more experience but it doesn't affect the oil change intervals Technology wise looks similar or VW/Ford have more experience in building turbo engine? |

QUOTE(isr25 @ Aug 1 2016, 12:43 PM) Check the first post. But yours is the worst so far. Try to restart your HU (long press power button, choose restart). Mine just random beeping, and it's only sometimes, during long drives. I'll add your name to the list of owners affected. Probably need to wait until Honda Malaysia gets a software update on this. oh, I didn't realize it was the same problem. I turned down the screen sensitivity and it seems okay this morning. Thanks for adding me to the list |

QUOTE(hihihehe @ Aug 1 2016, 02:15 PM) I haven't touch anything because I just got the car a few days ago and haven't read the manual. But its pretty obvious its the back button that's going wonkers. The original screen protector was there and I thought it was the one causing problems...until after I removed it, wiped any extra dusts off and still find it beeping like WALL-E in the Disney movie. |

QUOTE(vexus @ Aug 1 2016, 09:56 PM) QUOTE(thevelvet @ Aug 1 2016, 10:20 PM) Wow after read all the complaints and defect Guys, I totally agree with you. This car is a mess. I mean just today I found out that it corners absolutely FLAT! Why would anybody want that? And there's a light on the dashboard to tell you when you're accelerating too much - as if the ECO mode wasn't enough to slow us down! Furthermore who uses Cruise Control...nobody in Malaysia sticks to one speed no matter how far they drive isn't it? NOBODY!! i was like is it really a HONDA? Normally i didnt care much but the problem is my Wife already set a sight on this TC-P and as a dutiful and lovingly husband will try to commit what she like/want.. hahaha.. and I'm probably gonna end up as one of the victim here ... sigh. But I believe and Hope the current owner will have the solution as soon as possible. Don't get me started with the automatic features...I can never understand why people would want to have their lights on after they've stopped the car. Auto-start? Who warms their car nowadays??? Auto-lock?? I want to TOUCH MY REMOTE!!! QUOTE(lionking7791 @ Aug 1 2016, 10:17 AM) Anyone installed this? Not from Honda Malaysia. Original from Honda Malaysia very expensive RM760. Searching from outside. Look at this, another reason not to buy a Civic! |

just some update on my car today...reverse camera didn't work for a while until I went back to Neutral and back to Reverse gear. And the HUD went beep beep beep when I tried to turn the radio back on (power button top right)...which it didn't turn on. I had to go to the menu and press Audio.

Does anyone know if the 1k service will change black oil or just checking the engine components?

QUOTE(Xstan @ Aug 6 2016, 08:50 PM) Hi guys. ..anyone manage to leather up their 1.8 civic? One SE discourage me as it will affect the air bags and it will void warranty. I leather-ed up my Civic...why would that affect airbag OR void warranty?Other SE didn't discourage ,neither advise. Just suddenly realised the issue and implications. 1) airbags are not on the seats... 2) if it'll void warranty, why does Honda have panels to do seats? btw, I spoke to 3 Honda salesperson already and all say it can be done with Honda panels or outside shops if you prefer. No problem there. The only issue was what color lining you want with the choice of leather color This post has been edited by Aeon_Clock: Aug 7 2016, 02:22 AM |
