QUOTE(teelim @ Aug 10 2016, 11:58 PM) Hi, just wondering if anyone replaced their wipers with silicone ones? Any recommendations? Trying to look for ribless/boneless ones but couldn't find anything online (locally) I am thinking of just getting the refills (since its the cheapest option) but unsure if the regular refills would fit. Thanks. why do you want to replacE?

saw the tips for CVT in civic x forum
Don't put the car in neutral at a stoplight. There's no need. Don't hold yourself on a hill using the throttle if it's a clutch-based CVT. Don't coast in neutral, because you're not helping the car here and now you're losing some regen if it's a hybrid. Don't neutral drop the car. Why would you do this? Seriously, why? Don't go from Drive to Reverse and vice versa without coming to a stop.

QUOTE(kluseng @ Aug 12 2016, 02:58 PM) Don't put the car in neutral at a stoplight is very dubious advice. There should be no negative effect from putting your car in neutral. If your car is not in neutral you have to keep stepping on the brake. So you are straining your transmission and wearing out your brake pads unnecessarily. Don't believe everything you see on the internet by self-proclaimed experts. when you are in neutral, you still have to step on the brake if the road is sloppy or uneven. what i realised is that the rpm still be the same when i put N or D when stopping but i use e-brake when stopping in traffic light though. of course ,not everything in internet is true but the tips are there for debate too

QUOTE(greytiger @ Aug 12 2016, 03:53 PM) The "auto hold" function can not be permanently switch on? I have to switch it on every single time that I re-start the car? This function in my ex-VW can be switched on permanently. i rather to switch on manually than permanently. most of my times are city driving and auto brake is so annoying when in the jam

Was driving all the way to penang earlier today and suddenly the rattling sound can be heard around the steering area. It just on and off even on the even Road. But when I get into the car after an hour or so, the noise cant be heard any more. Should I be worried about my steering so that I can drive back to kl?
