Are you accept that your new Civic because of air-con outlet leaking then being dismantle like this? i can't accept it, it felt like i bought 2nd-hand car!
Well it's painful to see but its normal if you want them to get to the source of the problem. When they open up it always looks 'scary'. I went thru the same thing with my brand new F10. Leaks are a difficult problem to resolve. Plus I think they also removed the carpets to check on the wiring if there is any damage.

Most importantly the problem needs to be resolved and hopefully does not re-occur.

Hmm seems like a lot of tcp owners got problems with their aircond. Maybe I should call my SA to change to Tc unit. Any Tc owners have similar problems?

Nope. No problems so far except for that beeping sound from the HU unit. No rattles, squeaks or AC issues.

Bro, so far you are the only one affected. I'll add your case in the first page. Is your problem already resolved by the SA? The aircond tube came loose? Or was it missing from the factory? Mind sharing with us what they did to resolve it? Thanks!

TC got "hard" knobs and buttons to adjust fan speed and on/off. i think i've never gone into the climate menu since the day i took the car.

plus i rarely use Auto. cuz manual says optimum temp for car is 22c. so my aircon always 22c hehe

it was due to the air-cond outlet tube not connected, not sure loose or what.

Where is this exactly? On the top right footwell of the front passenger?

Hope they fix it back to normal bro. And hope Honda Malaysia compensates you for the inconvenience!

Ouch! Painful to look at. Is resolving the issue simply plugging back in the outlet hose? Why did they send 4 technicians to further investigate?

Actually if you do any soundproofing or autofoam, they will also do the same thing(strip everything out).

Interesting to see all the soundproofing materials. Did you manage to see how many layers of soundproofing materials they put.

Interesting introduction of the body of the new Civic. Some part they purposely make it week to absorb the crash impact. But some of the peoples will complaint like Milo tin.
