QUOTE(samuraiiii79 @ Jul 27 2016, 08:45 AM) Proud owner of forester 2.0-i since 19 June 2016. From JB. So far so good, driving experience and FC is good especially after the first 1000km service. Hi Samuraiii, just got my Forester 2.0iP last week, experiencing very high FC at abt 16.8 L / 100km Is that normal before the 1000km engine break-in period? Nevertheless, can feel that the power is awesome, even better compare to my almost 2 hrs test drive 2 mths back This post has been edited by BUMBLE@@B: Jul 27 2016, 06:52 PM

QUOTE(IamAHuman @ Jul 27 2016, 10:01 PM) 16.8L / 100km!?!?! That's super high! You stuck in super heavy jam is it? It was quite jam for particular 2 days due to heavy rain, flood and tumbling trees...

QUOTE(Beebeej @ Jul 27 2016, 10:31 PM) Are you driving in manual shift ?? Maybe once or twice, and x-mode once while coming down from a steep slope, 98% on normal D

QUOTE(littlefire @ Jul 27 2016, 11:25 PM) Bro, drive and refill the fuel tank a few times it will drop. BTW, during refill please off the engine so the computer will recalculate it more accurate during next start. When i get the forester also the same case, after few time refuel become normal back. Noted with thanks Bro. Appreciate for your sharing and advice. By the way, what's the mileage you can get for 1 full tank normally?

QUOTE(littlefire @ Jul 28 2016, 08:47 AM) Bro, average 9.0L/100km from on-board computer. Got post my forester experience a few post back.. Full tank of RM90 / Ron95 can go around 500~600km (Depending on mood, if light foot can easily hit 600km) before the fuel light went up.. Tips: Try to drive below RPM 2000 and use the cruise control on highway (110km/h around 1800 RPM). Mix driving 30% city:70% Highway. Thank you very much for your useful tips, bro. :-D

Dear Subarist, would like to find out which petrol brand can fetch better mileage 🤔
I'm driving a Forester 2.0iP, feeding with BHP Ron95 most of the time, with 80% city driving and 20% highway driving, with moderate driving mode, push the pedal occasionally to overtake some road hoggers and playing with paddle shifters a bit while cruising through some bends and turning.
Petrol used: BHP Ron95 Best mileage per tank: 650km (9.23l/100km) Worst mileage per tank: 430km (13.95l/100km)
Mind to share your stats? 🙃

QUOTE(anythin @ May 7 2017, 11:58 AM) Thanks..Guess need to test first on higway wether its acceptable or not for me.. Yeah, go for a longer test drive, I test drove the car for an hour plus covering city road, bumpy road, mild off road, highway, slopes... before signing on the dots a year ago...
