QUOTE(TitanRev @ Nov 7 2016, 12:21 PM) If for TPI they come in 20 pcs set. Included 4 security lug which is indicated. All the lug are spline drive so the package comes with a special socket to open all the 20 lug nuts. only the security lug nut need to find the correct position before you can slot in the socket to open it. I don't an extended wrnch to open them and no problem at all. Wheel theft do happen, how often I don't know but it you are rocking a set of 3-4K Japan rims with good tires well it's better be safe than sorry. McGard on the other hand is just 4 pcs security nut. They do have the 20pcs kit with spline drive system. I use this on another car I use a set of Genuine Rays security lug for my saga. I got them in UpGarage japan for a good price. Better than buying knock off Rays from mudah I'm using forged TPI set on my insaplah.. As for my xv, none yet. My insaplah using forged Japan wheel, so logically TPI should be there Bought 1 set around Rm200 several years ago, from sunway shop

QUOTE(Subang Nuclear Reactor @ Nov 23 2016, 12:39 PM) I think u can order the original sti flexible strut from motor image subaru, but sure the price will very steep, probably 3-5k region, as far as i know those people at crosstrek forum are paying usd$400-500 for one lol We have official cusco distributor here in malaysia maybe u give them a call about cusco pricing ouch the price... might import it myself from japan then

QUOTE(^pomen_GTR^ @ Dec 8 2016, 12:17 PM) i would not say problem... but i would say mainly 5x100 pcd type of bearing is smaller...so it life longevity is questionable.... for pcd 5x114 type of scooby no need to worry much.... but still, since scooby is fulltime awd vehicle, expect wheel bearing replacement for around 100,000km interval or so (forgot actual lifespan) bearings are wear and tear, but as of now, subaru xv worldwide have these rear bearing wheels problem as early as 40k km, depends on the usage/condition. i would say, its a bit sad, because this is the only problem that we encounter now for our xv, compare with my inspira/fake lancer, the bearings are still ok. even after 145k km (actual mileage as of today)

QUOTE(Duckies @ Dec 13 2016, 11:47 AM) Not sure if I am skeptical or not but the sudden 20k discount makes me feel that something fishy is going on. Or is it due to year end promotion? I quite like the Subaru XV but it's slightly smaller than Honda and the roof fail is ugly haha. Do you know if they have service center in Penang and Ipoh? its dec...all brands will throw discounts
