Unlikely anyone here changed the ATF fluid for now. The factory fill is fully synthetic type that is considered "lifetime" fill, meaning not required to change throughout your car ownership.

But knowing our driving habits and dustier and more humid environment, better consider to get it drained and replace around 60k-80k km.

Omg ...no way this can be life time...think have to do it outside

For longevity, you should change every 40,000 km. Yes. The owner manual said should change on 100,000km but change doesn't harm it.

Earlier, there's a owner changed the gear oil at 70,000 km because apparently, his gb damaged.

For safety, change in SC. Reason is that one of my colleague feel his M3 no power. Went to SC and do reset on GB.

According to SC, after 50,000km, you need to take back to reset the GB. Not sure is true or not.  hmm.gif

dear fellow M3ers...i believe most of us have experienced the mickey mouse rattling on the suspension area especially on WET days

as it was raining for the past wk, the sound just got louder...n before that had already sent to SC for some change, and yet still persist

very disappointed with this car...not sure if its SC problem, anyone any ideas how to fix this for good ? or maybe apply PU change on the lower arm entirely ?

Just some updates on my knocking suspension and lower arms - brought to glenmarie sc and had everything fix now it's sounds really quiet and like a new car. Service Advisor confirmed that my ride is the worst ever they have seen probably I was taking too long for all possible noises to surface !:)
Now they having the 4 generation bushing to replaced my previous ones - car is solid now will need to monitor further especially with some rain
