a couple of questions

-is it normal car delivered is 150km
-brake pedal squeaky/thumping sound when depress
-what tyre is standard for the m3 basic ? as i got a toyo neoenergy.
-budget 1.5k can get 3m tint ?
before this all my car with raytech but thinking of trying out 3m. or other brand if better value.

1. Very High. Usually should be less than 100km.
2. Brake pedal squeaky can ask SC to put some grease. Is it thumping sound when you emergency brake? That is the ABS working.
3. Stock is Toyo Nanonergy R38
4. 3M tint is inferior to Raytech.
*
dang, seems like some dishonest showroom

yup brake pedal squeaky/stonky. yup might just be grease. just curious if its "normal"

any review on the tyre dry/wet ? is it at par with michelin PS3 ?

3m is inferior ??? why

btw how do you enable autolock when driving. seems to be no option for basic , even the central lock button is also unavailable. also no buzz when lock/unlock.

3M may give you problems with smart tag.

There is no option to enable autolock when driving but you can pay somebody to access the non-user accessible options in MZD and enable it. Refer to the facebook link a few posts up.

guys for full tank how many km on average can you guys go ?
is 650km a good figure.

done 1k km with the car.
so far im fully satisfied.
only downside is road noise.
perhaps at this price range the N-vh is mediocre at best.
mine is basic specs , perhaps full specs owner can share if their sound insulation is better.

Give yourself some time the tires ,may need break in period or maybe city drive for me wasn't noticeable because how to speed...

oh didnt know tyre also break in thought engine only.

QUOTE(Sica92 @ Aug 7 2017, 03:35 AM)
650km per full tank is kinda good. mine is 550 per full tank. city drive 75% of the time. if highway drive. i managed to do KL-Perlis-penang per full tank. super satisfied.  rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif

the road noise will be compensated with the audio system and its handling. you will get used to it in 3 months time. . have you tried EDM in the car? you can have pre party session inside this car. rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif

new honda civic's handling is nothing compared to M3. worth every penny bought this car rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif

mine 50-60% city drive. highway cruising around 140-160.
but the the fuel gauge bar cannot be trusted. at least on my car.
the first 4 mini bars took quite some time to deplete. as if its really fuel saving.
but after pass the quarter tank its more accurate with your milleage.
but the milleage range is quite accurate.

NVH insulation for basic and full specs are the same. For GVC model the insulation is better than pre-GVC model.
*
oh well. saved 10k by not having the GVC model. if same price ill regret already. biggrin.gif

btw any of you guys have gap at the instrument meter left and right side near steering?
complaint and they say its normal.

anyway to update on my stonking pedal, its not a grease issue need to leave car for 2 days at SC
dont know if this is normal or not. they said need to service servo etc as no replacement will be done.
and that is after i ask to speak to the manager. as they said use it first if sound persist then come again.
ranting.gif how is the problem going to solves on its own? ?

Got any photo of the gap? Other owners here can help to determine if they are normal.

If the sound comes back go back to SC and insist they replace. Don't let the SC keep saying it is normal, normal, normal but once warranty expire then ask you to replace. I'm not saying Mazda SC does this but I know it happens with some SCs of other makes.
*
i did ask to mend the problem. they said ok but need to leave car for 2 days.
and it will not be replacement but repair. i this ok ?
under warranty its repair or replace . whats is their warranty policy.

quite a gap, ill share the pix. later.

just to update.
my car stonky brake pedal solved.
they change the servo. now it is resolved.

and just realised the car paint is full of orange peel here and there DANG. dry.gif
cant do much about this but sent for paint correction. as i dont think its under warranty
guys before pick up car bring high power torch light and really check the Paint.

next thinking how to resolve the highwindnoise issue.
thinking adding rubber to door and spray wheel arch with dampening material.

guys is it true that the best SC is sg.besi.
thinking of sending my car there.

my brake noise is still not solve. after sending to SC near my house.
they said change brake servo/booster but still the sound is there.
i really thought they solve the issues after driving. but after really testing the brake the issues still unresolved. event the pedal sound is clear from outside of the car.

How old is your car? If it is new, it will go off in a week or 2 and may recur once or twice. After that, won't happen anymore after 3 months.
*
just got it for 1 month. done 2k km with it.
does yours had the same condition ?

No petrol smell..
I used rm50 for 120km cos its obvious that something is not right.

Anyway the fc is now back to normal after the 3rd time i refuel. But im still wondering what caused the crazy fc
*
that is one crazy FC.
same pump ? or different station on the last one ?
sometime i also get crazy FC with my cars. but i suspected those pump stations faulty machine or tamper the pumps.

if total switch off - of the istop function.
which battery can the m3 use.

thinking of getting rid of it.
found no sense for it since the saving effect is not really saving at all
-battery more expensive
-effect on mountings
-starter motor
-most wear and tear on an engine occur on startup.

learn that some car manufacturer put the "istop" function just to
cater to emission and Fuel consumption test and you guess it sell more parts.

How are you going to get rid of the i-stop? To my knowledge there is no way.
*
theres a guy who can alter the system. to totally switch off.
and also to input the autolock system and side mirror fold system.
nowdays modern car is total computerized.
so you can practically input into the system and edit the instruction.

can diy most it shared in the mazda3revolution.com/forums/
but im not to tech savvy to try. afraid to brick it.
