Got my car in early June and yesterday I just did the 2nd service (10,000km) at Mazda PJ federal highway.

Opted for fully synthetic oil this time just to test the difference. Paid ~RM140. Noticeable difference in transmission when speeding up -- smoother gear transition compared to semi-synthetic.

Overall I'm happy with the SC. Friendly staff and both times I went there (for 1st and 2nd service) I was attended by Arun. Not sure if it's worth mentioning but they always give me the extra engine oil.

Hi...can I asking why my Mazda 3 2016 skyactiv 2.0 sedan CKD high spec top speed only 180km/h?
Some more when speed to 160km/h, it got like somethings burning smell like rubber or maybe exhaust paip smell like that... Did anyone know this problem or got somebody got this problem before? Thanks

If I may ask, is this the first time that you drive at high speed or rpm? Burning smell is normal at high speed or rpm in the beginning...it'll go away once your car is used to it. Nothing to worry about, based on my experience.

As for your top speed, have you floored the pedal until the end? One thing I realise is that once you've floored the pedal, you can actually floor it even further (requires extra push). You can feel the "click" of the pedal. You can try this when the engine is off to see what I mean. I personally have hit 205km/h and it's still not the top speed yet.

Would love to know the experience of other drivers on these matters too smile.gif

Need some help taikor,
i notice that my headlamp are quite low.
When the headlamp is on, the lit up area is not even. (passenger side will always be higher than the driver side)

That's normal. I've asked the SC about it, they told me that it's to reduce the glare for oncoming cars.

You can ask them to recheck yours during your next service since that the headlamp is adjustable.
