Just replaced my stock tyre to Michelin pilot sport 4 and the improvement is huge.
I am driving the skyactiv high spec so stock tyre is 215/45/r18 due to pilot sport size is 225*/45/r18 so I just take that size. Handling wise about the same but comfort and nice greatly improved! Just to share my experience for any one that plan to change tyre soon=) |

Any user changed their tyres following original size 215/45/18? Maybe we should make a list here since this is a odd sized tyre and is quite rare. I for one would like to stick to this size and not go wider, I like abit of side movement when cornering rather than absolute grip and the beauty of this cars handling is you get good feedback and can feel it's limit.
So I guess I'll start. Feel free to add other sizes too, I'll compile a list. Tyre/Shop/Price/Buy Year 215/45/18 Toyo T1R - Tek Ming Sunway - RM540 (2015) Goodyear F1D5 - Tek Ming Sunway - RM450 (2015) 225/45/18 |

Guys~ for those Mazda old or new owner that having warranty of 5 years or 3 years:
Battery and Wiper has been withdrawn on 1st Feb 2017, and remain covearage on Battery 12 months warranty or 20,000 mileage. Compare to previous coverage was one(1) time free replacement battery within 3 years warranty period. Even Dato seri Ben Yeoh said "Battery & Wiper on us" in news. This information has been internal circlulated within their own service centre but not to sales side of Mazda. Nowadays, not to believe or trust those Sales person telling you that battery and wiper fully covered, Battery one(1) time replacement within 3 years or 5 years. Mazda going to play games with you. Not believe? you may ask Mazda Glenmarie HQ. So if you still luv Mazda, prepare MYR 600-800 monies after 12months or 20,000 KM. Because iStop will kill your battery quickly. Bear the own cost lo.. You can get cheaper battery outside with price range starting RM 450 - 700. Model Q85 is for our car. I myself already replaced after the battery lasted for 1 year and 5 months, mileage 28k km.Battery and Wiper has been withdrawn on 1st Feb 2017, and remain covearage on Battery 12 months warranty or 20,000 mileage. Got my battery with Ideal Battery, shop location @ Jalan Klang Lama, comes with 1 year warranty. Installation and delivery at my doorstep was included (FOC) during replacement. For the wiper, get a silicone wiper then it could be good for at least 1 year. Non-branded will only cost you RM 40-60 per pair, while those branded like PIAA and Bosch could easily Rm 80 - 2xx for silicone type. QUOTE(b.tharma @ Mar 30 2017, 02:51 PM) Welcome bro.. Do head to FB group to meet up with more members and information.Search FB: Skyactiv Mazda 3 Club (Malaysia) <- This group is for Skyactiv version. There is another Mazda 3 club.my too <- Previous gen and Skyactiv gen.. Both are welcome to join.. |

Hi toonny
I ald changed, cost rm600 in SC. what to do, mazda after sales & service and withdrawn the so called "GoodWill" for the 1 time replacement battery. Just don't like the way they cheated on customer for sales and changed the term. Since new car until now has been sent in and out for front lower armbush creaky sounds and rattling noise inside dashboard, still unsolve. Just "kao peh, kao bu". |

I'm here to present you the official KL-Malacca convoy joint organized by Mazda 3 Skyactiv Club (M3SA) and Malaysia Mazda 2 Club (MYM2) that happened last week on 25-March-2017, it was a fun and exciting with some hiccups during the trip, it was a rewarding experience for all of us who participate
Gathering time @ 7am, the lead team (Sweeper and Marshall) wait for members to arrive, but as usual with the Malaysia style, not everyone come on time, while waiting for everyone to come i quickly setup my camera to get ready for filming the convoy later ![]() M3SA & MYM2 Malacca Convoy by Kien Seng, on Flickr Briefing time, all the members arrived then we gather for a quick brief on the rules during convoy, some basic rules include turn on "small light" and tail light signal other road users that we are in a convoy and no overtaking during convoy except sweeper ![]() M3SA & MYM2 Malacca Convoy by Kien Seng, on Flickr Here is some of the pictures taken on highway during the convoy, i dont have much chances to stop and take pictures, so only managed to take a few only ![]() M3SA & MYM2 Malacca Convoy by Kien Seng, on Flickr ![]() M3SA & MYM2 Malacca Convoy by Kien Seng, on Flickr ![]() M3SA & MYM2 Malacca Convoy by Kien Seng, on Flickr Before we head out to check-in hotel, we stopped by Limbongan McDonald in Melaka while waiting for the rest of the members and chill out for a while Arrival of our president's car ![]() M3SA & MYM2 Malacca Convoy by Kien Seng, on Flickr All meteor grey lineup ![]() M3SA & MYM2 Malacca Convoy by Kien Seng, on Flickr ![]() M3SA & MYM2 Malacca Convoy by Kien Seng, on Flickr |
