Looks like We are in the same boat but my car arrive at the dealer already with chassis number assigned. I manage to view my car yesterday. Dealer say only pending K1 form submission to jpj custom. They cannot do anything as jpj custom is close this week. Very weird la. Dunno the documents sangkut at bermaz or jpj. Sigh
bermaz close for 1 week right? I think no one in the office to process your registration.
Just collected my GL gvc today late late evening ( sangkut at the dealer's premise due to some documents issue ) wasn't a very good experience 1st impression the sound insulation quite good + Audio sound system is quite good. Also when I reach home I realise that there is no autofold on wing on the GL variant. Lol Other than that everything is great as I just need a car with basic function
Autofold not even available at GLS model, small feature like this also being cut off by Bermaz.
I was told the new face-lift M3 SCBS can only support from 10-30km/h instead of maximum speed of 80km/h despite the brochure given by bermaz states 80km/h? Is it true?
this is the problem with bermaz, they don't know what spec in the car that they are selling. A will tell you this, B tell you that, at the end you also don't know who is telling the correct specs.
Most sales advisors are like this unless those really experienced old timers. Further, this type of feature is relatively new in the market, the advisors may not have a proper understanding on it. Another thing is that 99% of them have not experience these features activating as the risk of damaging the car is too high to swallow.
The website is usually correct, and you can watch youtube videos regarding how these autonomous systems work. If you want accuracy, you can specifically choose such official videos posted by Mazda themselves.
Sales Advisor should have gone thru training before the launch of the new model. Unless they are not paying attention in the training or the trainer also blur blur never explain in details to SA.
Website? Mazda 3 information not even updated in Mazda Malaysia website until now since the launched of Mazda 3 GVC way back in end of April, don't talk about the rubbish website.
Is the FL Mazda 3 equipped with the SBS (Smart Brake Support)? According to Mazda website:
Using a millimeter-wave radar Smart Brake Support (SBS) is capable of detecting vehicles and obstacles as far as 200 m ahead. When a risk of collision is detected, the system slows the car via a two-stage brake operation.
SBS aims to help the driver avoid or reduce the severity of collisions, particularly when driving at mid- to high speeds (between 15 km/h and 145 km/h), by automatically applying the brake if there is a danger of collision.
Also, the SBS is coupled with the Distance Recognition Support System (DRSS) that visually displays the distance to the vehicle ahead and Forward Obstruction Warning (FOW) that warns the driver of a risk of collision with the car ahead by alarm and a warning light on the meter. These systems help the driver to maintain the safe following distance.
Yes, they should, but if you try speaking to a number of them, more than half can't really answer you in detail. Further, this model is still relatively new, they'll need more time to get familiar with the car.
You have to remember that most of them are sales background, hoping from industry to industry or brand to brand. Hardly can find someone who is really into car knowledge as they view their position as temporal and will just switch if the trend/industry goes against the brand they are working with. Unless they themselves are car enthusiasts, their car knowledge will just be slightly better than normal layman.
They are there to grease the sales experience. If can buy car online without going through these sales advisors, most car enthusiasts will go through this method after test driving it, as they know the specification, just want to have a feel of the car before purchase.
Only those who dono car will trust what SA says. they can still survive with this kind of ppl around which I believe there are still plenty..
no choice but buyer like us with little more knowledge and know how to google around will have to find out the truth ourselves or force their customer service to provide a firm answer. which I found that bermaz customer service also at times lack of knowledge.
Really, most sales advisors are there for the commission only. The one that served me during my purchase, after signing the delivery, no longer hear from him. When go back for 2nd service, already that fellor already bye bye.
Some are fresh graduates and very few are loyal, they know bits and pieces only. Only those that are more committed will go to the workshop and chat with the technicians or spend some time when no customers to really understand the ins and outs within the infotainment menu.
Maybe instead of approaching sales advisors, better that you approach service advisors. They are the ones that handle all the 1st hand complaints from customers requesting the in house technician to check and they are also the middle man to explain the issue/fix to the customer from the findings of the technicians.
actually at the beginning I am not talking about SA... not sure why you keep talking about their SA. bermaz problem is not only at their SA, their customer service, their marketing also. Don't tell me customer service turn over is high and they don't have enough knowledge also, not professional at all.
It's true. Last weekend I just had a sales agent at Glenmarie HQ inform me that the brochure is wrong, printing error. And there's also no Lane Assist. I didn't even ask. The sales agent just show me the brochure and cross out the incorrect spots.
This is really disappointing.. I thought the SCBS for our GVC model is updated like Australia GVC to be able to operates up to 80km/h but it is AGAIN mistake on the brochure! same case as the lane keep assist!
already driving for mths, just like Ginny said, it is still a good car. but problem is if you don't have such features then why put it in the brochure? gimmick to attract buyer? if real mistake then why make such mistake? no one verify the brochure before roll out to public?
I can understand cutting cost due to high tax but not such mistake that mislead the public
I think is that dealer/ branch that did not explain the car well to you, my SA did not give me the new brochure because they know there are errors in it.
I'm wondering anyone from Mazda Malaysia know really well about the car, even customer service also not sure.
I agree that many customers know more abt the car than the sales or customer service people
Not just mazda but other makes as well.
I dont think they train sales staff properly nowadays
Agree, but what we know from all sort of sources especially the internet might not be the specs here in Malaysia. Malaysia usually cut here cut there..
the dealer/SA/Customer Service should provide the correct specifications of Malaysia model to Malaysia's customers..
There is no 2.5L turbo petrol. I know we can't change things but just saying if Mazda doesn't offer petrol turbo for its bigger vehicles it won't be competitive. Either you get an underpowered 2.0L engine or high road tax 2.5L engine. Not everybody wants to go diesel.
hm.. instead of turbo.. I think they are going to skyactiv 2.. but very much later.. maybe in the new M3.
from wiki.. "Mazda's SkyActiv-G Generation 2 will use HCCI (homogeneous charge compression ignition) to reach a compression ratio of 18:1"
Is the adaptive LED headlights with auto high beam control for the GVC high spec working well?
ALH working super well, like it so much! Finally got chance to test it on highway, it will be activated when there is no lamp post. Very accurate and nice headlamps, even brighten the signboards! So bright, lol.
Just wanna rant abit disappointingly. TBH I was looking to purchase a new car in the upcoming few months and have shortlisted 2 models them being the infamous civic x and Mazda 3. Started as one of the fence sitter and slightly interested towards the mazda3, I was waiting for this new model to hit the road to for me to compare. While the civic x is flooding on the road I still see no sign of the new Mazda 3 until today and it was the grey color model. And man I am disappointed. I really liked the interior and other specs of the car, and the only downfall for me is the new lights and DRL which is worst compared to the previous model and comparingly to their siblings the cx3 and even mazda2. They look weird when turned on as the new circle drl looked like an after market mod and not as bright as the rest. Such a turn off. Sigh. However this is my first sighting of the new Mazda 3 and maybe today's weather was abit gloomy therefore affected their optimum looks and brightness. Am looking forward to see more and compare again. Hopefully by that time I can come to accept it and join the proud owners here. *Sobbing away quietly* ðŸ˜
To me it's bright enough and they are gorgeous! I've not seen any new model on the road too but saw a lot in SG.
