nah. i'm not twisting stuffs here. i'm referring to your own post. based on your own logic. but now you're saying that expensive lens doesn't mean good. you're contradicting yourself actually.

my point from the very beginning is that mirrorless fullframe lenses aren't optimized for the short flange body and also the body to lens weight ratio is disproportionate. what do you not understand
*
huh there's such thing as mirrorless fullframe lenses? hmm.gif

A7 is mirrorless. A7 is fullframe. A7 have lens.

2 + 2 = 4
*
so are canon L lens mirrorless as well?

Used? Good condition? Grab.

actually the reason why i'm still considering is because i originally wanted a telephoto zoom lens aka 70-200mm

but now i saw this deal quite tempting. But not sure whether the 85mm could compensate the zoom range of the 70-200mm

Why would you need 200mm? How often do you see yourself using it? Imo, just grab Sigma MC11 adapter with Canon EF135F2 and this Batis 85 will be a better deal than grabbing the 70-200. But that's just me, IQ > convenience icon_idea.gif

well i generally shoot alot of landscapes, now i currently have the 16-35mm. But really struggling when i want to shoot something very far away. So that's why i wanted a telephoto to pair with my UWA.

QUOTE(-kytz- @ Mar 17 2017, 02:24 PM)
You can only charge using your power bank when you are not using the camera. Also, the charging speed is not as fast as your fast charge for mobile phones (Qualcomm 3.0/Dash/VOOC charging speed).

Batteries still the way to go if you're shooting from day to night and no breaks in between for charging..
*
yup the sad thing about the first A7 sad.gif

QUOTE(NLCH880215 @ Mar 17 2017, 02:27 PM)
you can get a usb battery charger then charge the used battery by using powerbank, this is how i do  when i wen taiwan last two week.. and i have 4 battery in totally.. btw if not mistaken now we also cannot carry power bank more than 30000mAH
*
QUOTE(bdrc @ Mar 17 2017, 02:53 PM)
Aye, when I first traveled to Japan I only had 1, so I often charge with powerbank whenever I am on a public transport. Somehow lasted whole trip with camera on and off for charging.

Newer units like a7ii series and a6300/a6500 is able to charge and continue to use iirc.
*
QUOTE(djboycalvin @ Mar 17 2017, 02:54 PM)
i charge using the third party charger .. kingma dual charger ..
in your case .. maybe still can charge using powerbank to the dual charger and continue travel ..  bruce.gif
*
yup that's why planning to get a 10000 maH powerbank, imagine the amount you can charge with it laugh.gif

both the new 100mm FE f/2.8 and 85mm FE f/1.8 is up for preorder at shashinki already

https://shashinki.com/shop/sony-100mm-maste...ia-p-32719.html

http://shashinki.com/shop/sony-85mm-lens-s....html#!tab2

i might plan to sell off my FE 70-200mm and buy the 85mm to replace it, and with the extra cash upgrade my 16-35mm F/4 to the yet to be release 16-35mm F/2.8.
