Speaking of startup time, I noticed that sometimes, after some time of not using the camera, it tends to have hiccups starting up. Say for example, I can switch it on, but it'll be delayed a bit. Then, when I shut it off, it'll take a long time to shutdown and usually with a sound of a shot taken before it goes off. Why ahh? Anyone experienced before? sweat.gif

Happened to me but not often, not sure how to alleviate the problem too.

downloaded the original file from flickr, looks like alot of purple fringing? and focus not sharp? is that a quality of the lens?

love the pose and the composition.

Nikkor 85 1.8D got quite strong CA when wide open, applied basic LR fix and lazy to move into PS.
And out of focus yes, happens sometime when focus center and recompose.

Instead of centre focus and recompose with focus lock, can you try "Continuos Focus" on sony a6000, focus them in the centre and then recompose? When you recompose with CA the focusing square should still lock/track them and same time readjust focus continuosly. Let me know the result cause im curious of the result.
*
It was manual focus, adapted Nikon lens. I have yet to get the AF-capable adapter.
It is possible keep re-compose first then move the magnifier window to point of interest to focus, the trade off is it will be slower flow-breaking (at least to me).

The cafe shot? It's a scripted series of 20 images, there were two person and then one left earlier and show how the main character feel about it.
Somehow I only pick one that could be standalone.

Interesting, so most recommend Viltrox over Commlite then, for the budget adapter. Interestingly taobao price is higher than ebay it seems.

HSS possible with remote trigger?

hey guys,

is it covered under warranty when some of the button on the a6000 become hard to press?

You can just bring it to service center or directly to the authorized workshop and let them fix any thing, no question asked.
