Hey guys, i am trying to get maybe A7Sii or A7Rii, i am quite new to photography but have interest to capture good photos. I might be into recording slightly more as well. Which would u guys recommend? I have a point and shoot sony rx100 first edition but when i was trying to capture the milky way in NZ, it just simply not able to capture because of the extreme low light condition. Thanks for your help and recommendation guys!

if budget is unlimited, buy A7RIII or A7III

A7SII no need buy now coz A7S III coming

if budget low, under RM5k can buy Sony a6300 or A6500 with few set of lenses already

I assume the reason you wanna get A7R2 or A7S2 is cuz you wanna get them used?

S2 awesome ISO but 12MP.
R2 awesome megapixel but huge file size and slow operation.

How much are you willing to spend to get that milky way shot?
*
Ahh okay, actually i am willing to spend maybe around 10k for camera and lenses? I believe A7RII is around 7k-ish and A7SII is around 8k-ish? Hoping to get more of ah all rounder so i can also use the video function in the future instead just taking portrait, landscape and the milkyway.

Thank you guys for responding to me.

Anyone here using Sony A7iii ? Looking at the reviews they all looked good. Anyone can recommend the best place to get the camera and what lens would you guys recommend?
For my first lens, I would like it to be good in portrait and landscape photography.

Just saw @Silverfire shots. A7iii really looks good. Now the problem is, whether I am able to get my hands on one of it or not since it's like hot stuff right now. LOL!

Would recommend A7M3 + Tamron 28-78 F2.8 for a grand total of ~RM10600.

Thank bro for the recommendation. The Tamron need any adapter to connect to the camera? And are you using that lense too ?

Hey guys, i'll be getting the A7iii soon. Is there any good books i can read for photography? I am quite new and still deciding on which lens to go for.

Any opinions on 16-35mm F4 ZA OSS? I'll be using it for scenery, street photography and portraits. And a little bit on video.

Hi guys, i got the 16-35mm for landscape shot. I am looking for another lens for portrait mode as well with some good bokeh. Which one would you recommend for travelling? Is the 50mm f1.8 OSS good? I am thinking that it might be too close to my 16-35mm? Or should i get the 85mm instead?

Hey guys, anyone have experience using Zeiss 16-35 f/4 to take milkyway and star shots?
Is the f/4 sufficient?

hey guys, i wanted to learn and do a bit of video editing but realised that it cost too much for adobe cc all apps. What did you guys subscribe for or is it better to get final cut pro? main interest is on photography so lightroom and photoshop is must for me.
