Just came back from Sony Store @ The Curve for the free cleaning service. Unfortunately for my case (front element some fungus) this is not covered since the free service only covers the surface and exterior

But for those who are curious, a full disassembly service and cleaning + realignment will cost around RM200

Not using Sigma 18-50mm f2.8 though, but heard its pretty good. I am using the Sigma 16mm and 30mm, but recently sold off the 16mm cuz not using that much anymore, thinking of potentially picking up the 18-50mm but not really a must, the 30mm is good enough for me

got the A6700 for RM4k only lol from taobao

I've used Sigma 18-50 on my XT3 before. It is very lightweight and compact. The overall quality is good enough. Just one small annoyances. When u reverse attach the hood to the lens, it will partially blocked the zoom ring. Sometimes I just want to take a quick shot without removing the hood but find it annoying that the lens hood was in the way.

As for your RM4K A6700, I have to say, that is fabulous price. Is it used copy?

100% real and brand new China domestic model, but similar to Japanese domestic model the language is locked so no English, but easily circumvented by using PMCA-RE tool to unlock all languages

I checked Japanese domestic model also a bit over 4k so pretty similar, buy from Taobao easier so I just bought there

Only thing is open box cuz it’s a kit box and they opened to took out the kit lens, but inspected the body confirm new unused

Got sealed body only box also just top up 100 rmb

Had some help from Taobao promotion and coins that time, price seems to gone back up a bit now and need around RM4.4k



But as with all these things got risk lor, mainly have to check for reputable shop that doesn’t look sus

Depends ur risk appetite dare to buy or not haha

Nice, is this the first time you bought Camera related item from Taobao ? I bought a few items from Aliexpress, but when I bought a lens, the custom in malaysia here charged me 5% tax, which is ok for me. Will you be charged 5% as well with this a6700 ?

Sayang I don't shoot sony anymore, or else 4K for a6700 is super tempting.
