anyone got 1st hand experience using the A6k series with mc-11 and Canon's trinity lenses?
can share how well it works? I don't expect it can be better than native Emount but it would nice to know how much's the trade offs

16-35
24-70
70-200

AF-S and AF-C works fine in photo mode but eye AF might be hit and miss. AF doesn't really work in video. But if you use them with Sigma lenses, all will work fine.

Hi guys, I'm planning to get my 1st mirrorless camera.
Should I get a 2nd hand a6300/a6500? Or go for a brand new a6400?

As long as it fits you smile.gif

I checked the price surprisingly quite much diff was thinking 6100 cost not much more haha

But I think if I'm the one buying I will still justify buying 6100 instead of 6000 for the improved AF, flip screen (for that it can flip out wider from the body), 4K, full HD 120fps, intervalometer and the newer sensor. Maybe because I already have a A6000 and knows clearly its capability biggrin.gif

If u thinking buying a6100 now, u better be looking at A6400 which cost few hundreds more but way better features. Magnesium finish top, unlimited record, and picture profile. Better to wait 6100 to drop price further first before can justify buying that instead of A6400.

The approved repair workshop can send over as well, less a hassle.

I need some help, i do have some problems that whenever i am trying to record a video of something like unboxing/cooking/product review, my camera will keep on non-stop finding focus. its been a nightmare for me. I still need the AF function, but since the camera keep on finding focus. it is really disturbing.

my camera A6400
lens SEL2470Z.

Is there any settings or recommendation that you guys can suggest?

Perhaps setting "AF tracking sensitivity (movie)" can help. Try to set "AF tracking sensitivity (movie)" to Standard and see whether it helps or not.
